Well, the first time she sang it a few shows back, I got tears in MY eyes. And goosebumps.

We were huge Jennifer fans in this house.

I think it's great that they don't need to win to go on and find success. I think all of the singers that have been mentioned have their fans and will build on it. With professional guidance, look out! They have so much opportunity. How exciting for them.

Tonight it sounds like she may sing every black song ever written

Why did they allow the choir on Fantasia's last song? The choir sang more than Fantasia. Diana should have sung a duet with Celene Dion.

Instead the band stepped all over Diana in the last song and Diana is too inexperienced to be able to sing without hearing herself.

Fantasia did not bump LaToya off. 'Twas Jasmine the Hawaiian girl.

ha ha ha. I don't like Fantasia's attitude, mouth, or prop (her child). Yes, I AM being judgemental. I want Diana to win, but I stopped watching this last week.

"I was sorry to see her and Jennifer go"

Me too . I think that's the problem with letting high schoolers in to the competition, they have lots of friends with time and money to burn on voting for them ,weather they can sing or not. Though as I said, I think Diana has more range.

The last song that Fantasia sang was the FIRST song that Diana sang, too. And Diana got the choir with it, then also.

It will be the first single recorded by the new American Idol.

Actually it was Fantasia who bumper her despite what Simon said. Jasmine had more votes the either LaToya or Fantasia...so it was Fantasia who bumper her.

You're wrong about the judges picking LaToya. They gushed consistently over Fantasia, constantly told her what a mega-star she was going to be (even after she had finished in the bottom three on three different occasions), etc. The night LaToya was voted off, they gushed over Fantasia and did what they could to break LaToya's spirit. I played back their comments several times. And they never told LaToya she deserved to win; Simon did say one time that Fantasia and LaToya were in their own league, but he and both the others treated Fantasia like the de facto winner since week one, exactly like they did with Ruben last year.

They've pushed Fantasia EVERY week since the beginning, and the praise for her always dwarfed everyone else, no matter how stunning a performance the others gave.

It should have come down to LaToya and Fantasia in the end with Jasmine going first, then Diana.

That's my opinion going on talent and consistancy.

Her early attitude toward Simon. And not that I am a big role model, but I think an idol should be. A 19 year old single mother is not the best role model for young girls ... remember the Dan Quayle thing years back.

I think Diana is much sweeter. I also think that Clay is the Idol to top all idols and the show should have stopped after the second season.

Fantasia should have gone weeks and weeks ago. It would have been LaToya and Diana if Fantasia hadn't bumped LaToya.

We have "Super Millionaire" on and there just was a question based on the 9/11 commission hearings.

"PDB" stands for "presidential daily WHAT" and the contestant had to choose. He correctly chose "briefing".

Oh, brother.

Can't escape politics even when I'm trying.
