Then, out of respect for your/our Savior, I suggest you capitalize "Christian" on your profile page.

Next, you might quit being so literal. ;)

Every time this guy thinks, he weakens the nation.

As you may know, Easley & I are both Rocky Mount natives.

I feel dumber just knowing that he and I may have shared the same Zip Code.

AI just starting here.

As to Simon and Paula, I've noticed in weeks past some flirting and one time Paula was giggling away. However Ryan recently mentioned Simon's girlfriend. So I guess it's to keep us guessing, or the gf story is cover for them.

Diana just finished her first song here. Fantasia coming up.

Ever notice how #1 ends up being the dud while #2 and/or #3 go on to fantastic careers? Diana #1, Fantasia #2.

Well, my daughter and I have followed AI since the first season when it came down to Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini. Kelly was far above Justin and she rightfully won. The shocker that year was Tamyra (the girl who wrote the single the two contestants are singing tonight) getting booted. That first season should have come down to Tamyra and Kelly and we're still reeling from Tamyra getting voted off!

Fantasia up for her first song (in my time zone).

Gotta go listen.

Yeah, well... my mom (confirmed Democrat) graduated from ECU the same year he did.
She knew him there too. Ugh.

(I'm off to bed now)

Fantasia's crying when she was done was a little too much for me. I mean, I know she's happy, but that seemed a little fakey to me.

She cries all the time. Every show so far. It's not fake, she's a crier.

Like it or not, Fantasia performs like a seasoned pro. Conjures up Aretha Franklin (thinner)...mature beyond her years, and has already defined who she is artistically. I like Diana, and I think she's tremendously talented, but not quite as "ready" for this as Fantasia. I like Diana's sweet personality much better, but we are not supposed to be voting on personality. IMHO Diana needs to explore her own style a little bit more. I think Fantasia deserves the win.

Why are you saying that to me? I am the one who first said "Go Fantasia" and was opining she's far and away better than Diana.

In fact I just heard Simon tell her he thinks she's the best contestant this program has had, EVER.

I think she and LaToya both were the best the show has ever seen.

They've pushed Fantasia for some unknown reason.

The unknown reason is "talent". Fantasia is Great, with a capital "G".

Diana has the potential for greatness, but she's not there, yet. She'll for sure get recording contracts and I'll be applauding for her, but she's not better than Fantasia.

Was just saying that to everyone in general. Sorry, I just pushed "post reply" and forgot to change the "to" name to "all". Glad we agree on Fantasia.

On the first post-Hollywood show this year, I told my wife they had already chosen Fantasia as the winner, just like they did Ruben last year. After the many sickening gushes over her all season, I've sadly come to the conclusion that AI is about as real as pro wrestling.

I doubt I'll even watch it next year; I just don't like injustice.

I only got suckered into this year, I never watched before, by a wife of 30 years that I love...which I'm now starting to question.

Of course I think she is also regretful since my comments would make Simon look kind.

But I'm still hoping to see three exploding heads...got to go...it's time.

I prepared a reply earlier that opined on Fantasia's superior ability but after reviewing I see I somehow lost it before I hit "post".

Wow, I can see why Fantasia was in tears after that last song. That was incredible. She was "in the zone" on that, just like the first time she did "Summertime".

Brava!
