Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A sudden tree or standing stone

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 | Still round the corner there may waitA new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 | Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

LOL! "A team that was once compared to a bunch of trained gerbils by its owner has to count as one of the most interesting teams in the history of professional football if nothing else. Such was the case of the Washington Federals, a team which won just one of it's first 14 games. Each week it seemed as if the Feds had figured out a new way to blow a football game. The Federals lost on last-second field goals of 50 and 52 yards, a 98-yard TD pass, a missed chip-shot field goal, and a quarterback sneak that came up one foot short. And that was in their first season alone." (

Well, I went to the anime store to spend some of my graduation present money. I'm saving most, but...

I got a Kenshin wall-scroll (ooh! it's pretty), the new Fruits Basket manga, which I've been waiting for, and two disks of Fruits Basket anime. I finally got it to work. It seems to be rather random, whether the disk will get read or not. Must be why it got returned once. And why I got the disk for $20 instead of $30.

Well, I went to the anime storeYou mean there's a store specializing in anime by you? I've never seen one of those--that'd be neat.

"Most" meaning at least 51%, right? :)
I got a Kenshin wall-scroll (ooh! it's pretty),
What's it show? My favorite Kenshin pic is this one of him standing with the Moon in the background and his sword drawn. I want to make a poster out of it.
the new Fruits Basket manga, which I've been waiting for, and two disks of Fruits Basket anime.
I'm planning to check out Fruits Basket next after I finish the discs.

Unfortunately I guess stuff like that happens a lot with DVDs, I was reading recently.

His head came off and he spit up some milk in Alien.ROTFL!! I saw another one last year called The Sweet Hereafter that was kind of interesting. Our oldest son told us about it during one college break. He was also the Welsh leader in Henry V with Kenneth Branagh.

In my case, "most" means 85%. But the anime store cuts into it. It's a really neat place. I could spend thousands, and hours, in there.

I'm trying to savor the manga here... when I only get one or two a month, it's important to make it last.

THE KNIVES AND SCISSORS HAVE BEEN DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE CAMP POPULATION BY BEING OFFERED AS PRIZES FOR VARIOUS TOURNAMENTS AND CONTESTS AND WERE THEMSELVES UNIQUE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER. That's a neat way to hand them out!

Tell me about it! I'm going to be anime-less shortly! But at least I'll have some Scrapped Princess and online FruitsBasket to hold me over for a little while, I guess.
