SOUTH PARK PING!
For those who don't know how you got on this ping list: the initial ping list was created by copying member names from past South Park threads.
Please ping me with any South Park related articles. Thank you!
If you want on or off this ping list, please FReepmail me.
This is expected to be a low to medium volume ping list.
Eventually, I will be turning this ping list over to someone else. Until then, see you next time. :)

They've been advertising the hell out of it.
Hope it's good. Seems like South Park hasn't been as good recently.

I think it is the same as ever... Comedy that is on the edge is risky. Depends on whether folk can still like it when they are the ones bein' poked at.
There was an interesting (and hilarious) behind the scenes show on this week "Going down to South Park".
Anyone else catch it?

Please add me to the South Park list, EveningStar.
Also, the infamous 'Cartman Joins NAMBLA' episode airs before the Jeffersons epi, at 8:30 CDT.

Oh I understand. But the most recent ones just haven't had the edge or zip to them that past ones had. They were kinda weak. So far I'd say this season is 50/50.

It's Comedy Central. If they'll show the movie "Dogma" a hundred times, they'll probably rerun "Going down to South Park."
To: Guvmint_Cheese
"This Just In" is a hoot, in my humble opinion.

Get a binary newsgroup reader like
Giganews, and look on alt.binaries.southpark -- they're always posted by the next morning.

Oops -- should have looked up the thread, of course I thought you meant South Park!
Maybe the message will help some other Canadian, whose only other choice is to wait many months until the local networks get around to airing it!
To: EveningStar
Please add me to the South Park Ping, thanks!
