Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, and the tech guy had me uninstall my virus protection last night. What are the odds that there is now a virus on my system?

Hey...what's happenin' tonight?
We grilled up a fine side of salmon on the BBQ tonight to break it in properly. Nothing in the world like BBQ line-caught wild salmon. The Texans won't know this...but there's nothing better to found anywhere.

Ahem... Better now. I am glad.
I'm so relieved that this school year is over. I haven't been *this* relieved since I started this job. Dunno why, this has been the worst year!

One Texan is willing to be fed to see if this is true when she gets there!

We will have my dad's smoked salmon at the wedding! They'll be able to try that!
Everyone else is watching the second part of the earthquake movie on NBC that doesn't start here till 9.

I gotta upgrade to shopping cart technologySay, Corin, have you checked out Paypal's shopping cart setup? They host the guts, you just have to put properly formatted HTML buttons on your site. But, if you go with it then all of your customer's purchases will have to be made using Paypal, not sure if you want that or not.

Glad you're better--which means you're doing better than those of us watching the earthquake film. . .
To: HairOfTheDog
Spaghetti sounds good too. I am trying to eat spicy foods to get this baby out. I also had pineapple for dessert. Supposedly pineapple, when eaten in large quantities, naturally induces labor :-)
I am either gonna have a baby this week, or really bad heartburn, LOL.

Okay, you see these two scientists, Dr. Hill and her flunkie-boy?
If the relationship between my novel's hero and heroine ever gets this unbalanced and meaningless, just reach out and wack me, hear?
