Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Well, your part was in there last night! You missed the collapse of the Golden Gate as well as various and assundry other horrors for your home-away-from-home.

Is there some reason I want to watch this? They hinted they were going to destroy Hollywood--I'd watch the whole film just for that :)

The heat from the nuke is asposed to fuse the plates in their scenario.
In mine, we get a better slate of electoral votes in all subsequent elections.

They're gonna nuke the faults to *stop* earthquakes? Uh... I'm not even geo-magologistifist, and I can tell you that this is simply not a good plan.

The space needle coming down was pretty cool... but that happened yesterday.

I suppose fusing the plates might be a good idea if you wanted to see mountains like the Rockies suddenly appearing in Kentucky.

Come on! Doesn't anybody like my idea about a reason to detonate the nuke?

You're right about the electoral distribution. Good plan.
I approve of the plan.

The space needle coming down was pretty cool... but that happened yesterday. Did the top fly off and land in Elliott bay like a Frisbee? I've been waiting for that one to appear in a movie...

No.... it just fell over... and killed a kid on a bike. We were yellin' at the kid to turn 90 degrees... he was tryin' to outrun the length of it when he could have just stepped aside.

Had customers today with Sasser. As is typical, people think updating their virus protection "a few days ago" is good enough.
Every day, at least once a day.
