Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Still round the corner we may meet...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Yeah, but the Hibben thrower worked extremely well with that.
I was impressed with it, and surprised that it responded THAT well to merely changing one's grip.

I was hanging around the sculpture area at FIU, last night of printmaking class, we were having a little party.

One guy came walking over with a huge knife, like Crocodile Dundee carried. He'd made the thing in jewelry making class.
Pretty cool.

Oooh...now there's an impulse buy I can appreciate! What a pretty cookin' machine!

What are the compartments in the bottom for? And why THREE knobs...does it have different grilling zones?

I had a margarita. She went home at a fairly decent hour. I got the color printer I really wanted, B&N gift cards, and a George Foreman grill. It was good.

You have mail.

Truthfully, it wasn't that well made.

But I thought it was cool that he chose to make a knife in jewelry class. And it was pretty.

Good night, everyone.

Shoot NASCAR.com lied! The Busch race is on FOX. Right now it's lap 15.

Darn! I was in Ft. Worth! How'd it come out?

Oh! A fire sounds good today! I just got in from my little run down to Ft. Worth. It's chilly in my house still but I'm bundled up! I feel for ya bein' hot but I'm sure not! Just put some water on for some tea though and I'll be toasty in a bit. :-)

What kind of margarita? I like strawberry :)

Congrats on the gifts! What are you going to get with the B&N gift cards?--hmmm, let me take a wild guess. . . :)
