PRAYER REQUEST'S FOR GRANDMAC

PLEASE PRAY FOR GRANDMA C's
(My website is free, if it gets too many hits I have to pay. Please only go there if you are really interested in more information by clicking on the Miracles)
2003 will be a year I won't soon forget. Last year (actually Christmas Eve 2002) I went to care for my Father who had had 3 strokes, cardiac & renal failure. I was up and down all night. I rarely got a break, you just could not leave him. Anyone who has cared for someone who is very ill for a long time, knows the overwhelming fatigue. Then I am not well myself and went into flares with my illness, Myastenia Gravis & Adult onset Stills Disease. When my father died July 17th, I stayed and helped my Mom to get situated for a couple of weeks. Then when I came home my 13 year old grandson had major open heart surgery (3 weeks after my Dad's death). By the time I was done, I was completely exhausted and sick. I had an overwhelming need to be cared for myself. But I couldn't turn to my daughter, she was caring for her son. I had no money, so I just tried to made do and tried to get well. Yet I think that was the seed for this vision or project.
In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.". But it isn't always possible to get that rest. For awhile I have been considering taking people into my own home. The overall purpose of this would be a place for believers to come for restbit and to recoup. A place where they can be ministered too instead of having to minister. A place where they don't have to worry about if they can afford it or not, or spending money they don't have. They could take a weekend or a month if needed. Then hopefully they can return to their ministries refreshed and revitalized. I have not been able to shake this and am wondering if this is the Lords Will for me to do this. But there are these 3 things that need to happen before it can come to be.
- In the home I have, it is only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and the community has a limit of 2 weeks on guest. So I cannot do it here. So I have to sell my home. Thus Miracle #1 is the first step of the Lord showing me this is what he wants. When I was trying to paint, I sat down and cried out to Him I can't do this, it is physically impossible with my arm weakness and my leg weakness. So He sent me two ladies from church who selflessly worked so hard to complete this, and one of the ladies husband worked with her to move my furniture + another neighbor also has helped me tirelessly in what needed to be done. Then my Pastor came over and washed down my siding. This was very encouraging that maybe I am on the right path. So I ask you to please pray for Miracle #1 to sell,
- I am in debt. I can hardly care for myself financially, more or less guest who are visiting me. So I must become debt free. Thus Miracle #2. So after my place sells, I will move into a cheap room somewhere near my daughter, to finish paying off the debt. Now it is possible the Lord will handle this in another way - I will just have to wait and see. I CAN'T accept donations because it would be subtracted from my long term disability. Please pray I have the discipline to become debt free, and I can stay out of a flair with my health for Miracle #2. I had not had a flair in 3 years because I rested a lot before my Dad's illness. So I will have to be disciplined to rest also. Then when this occurs I will go on to the next miracle.
- This is the biggest Miracle of all. I am on a limited income, I cannot afford huge house payment. So I really cannot imagine how the Lord will work this one out. I would need at least 4 or 5 bedrooms and 2 1/2 - 3 bathrooms. Then a home in a park like setting, which up here in Northern Idaho, is not that hard to accomplish. It would probably need to be in the Post Falls, Hayden, Twin Lakes or Rathdrum area, since I take my grandchildren to school. So this is entirely the Lord's Miracle (of course aren't they all). I don't even know what I can do to make it happen. Please pray that if it be the Lords Will he will show me the way and I will listen for Miracle #3. Jesus said in Matthew 19:26 - "For man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
It can only be accomplished by the Grace of God and Prayer. Please join me in praying for this project, for me to stay humble and be obedient and to serve others. Bookmark this and I will update as these Miracles are achieved.
Philippians 2:3 - 8
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
4 Each of you should look not only to your own interest but also to the interests of others.
5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.
6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped.
7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on the cross!

Hi cyn!
Actually I think it is. No bites on the house, no calls on the House. I was starting to feel discourage on Saturday. Actually told a friend "Maybe it isn't the Lords Will",
"I don't deserve such a ministry",
"I'm really embarrased I put up this site with my personal information and stuff - I'm a fool"
20 minutes after hanging up I turned on Charles Stanley "In Touch Ministries", What does he say - Have you ever felt you knew the Lords will and put it to pray and it doesn't happen. What do you do as Christian - Think it must not be His will, or You don't deserve it. I just laughed - per batim what I had just said to my friend. Anyway he said we must keep praying until he tells us otherwise. And goes on to tell why we must pray, why answering prayers are delayed etc. I took notes wrote it up and put it on my refrigerator to remind me.
Well I guess the Lord quickly rebuked me and I deserved it. I need to Trust Him and have Faith. Thank you for the bump. Maybe I should put this up again, but I don't want to keep wasting Jim space. Hummmm. Jean

I will continue praying for you. How are things going?
To: GrandmaC; Texas Termite; All
I'm still praying for you, Grandma.
God's plans for me are coming together.
I'll close on the land on April 17th, and, hopefully, by the end of the summer, I'll be ready to take my first group of kids for a weekend at the Christian retreat.
The movie said, "If you build it, they will come", but Jesus said it better, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God". (Luke 18:16)
I have to tell you a story which I know you will appreciate:
I was moved to change my life through the eyes of a tiny baby boy named Logan.
God touched me through that child whom I had never seen before.
Since that time I've been directing my whole life toward providing love and guidance to as many children as I can reach.
I found a piece of land that I knew instantly was God's choice for His purpose, but I had no idea how I was going to buy it.
God provided the way. I mortgaged my house, and April 17th the land will belong to me and God.
I didn't know when I bought the land that about a half a mile down the road a biker couple who had found Jesus six months ago were putting in their own children's retreat!
AND.....my next door neighbor has plans to convert his property into a Christian retreat for children!
We all three were moved by God to do the same thing at the same time in the same place!
This is a miracle, and a sure signal to anyone that God is in control.
He saw the need, and He provided the tools.
You dream will come true, dear one.
Let go, and let God.
He is awesome, and He is infallible!
God's gift to me and the children:
To: Delphinium
As I stated in #147 I was feeling a little discouraged on Saturday because not one person has called or e-mailed or anything. Then 20 minutes after I told a friend Charles Stanley came on TV and basically said some of the things I had said to a friend and said that unless God tells us otherwise we are to continue to pray whether it takes days, weeks or months or longer. Here are the notes from that sermon that I took. It really was just what I needed to hear and a gentle rebuke from the Lord. Thank you Lord
Why God Has Us Pray Matt 7: 7 - 11
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"
- To build an intimate personal relationship with us
- To acknowledge that He is the source of everything, He desires we are dependant on Him.
- To begin to view Him how He is.
- To Learn to Trust Him!
- To Learn His Ways
- To learn to wait on God
- To see Him demonstrate His personal interest in my life.
- To signal to the lost that He is real and answers prayer.
*God gives more than you ask, more than you deserve, more than you expect. The more you pray, the less you complain and the more you Praise Him.
CONDITION FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS
- Answer will be given according to His will. (1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.)
- We must ask with the right motive. (Do I have the right to ask God for it?)
- We must come to Him in Faith.
- Pray in the name of Jesus (Means you know Jesus is present)
WHY GOD DELAYS ANSWERING PRAYER
- Because of sin in our life.
- Because He has to arrange the circumstances
- Because He has a better plan
- Because He has to get our attention
- Because the timing is not right. DON'T GET AHEAD OF GOD! STOP MANIPULATING! OR IT WILL TURN TO ASHES!
- To test and grow our faith!

Thank you, cyn.
I do the footwork. God provides the results.
To: GrandmaC
Thanks that is good teaching. I too am asking God to answer some prayers that I see as desperate. I know God is faithful, but sometimes get discouraged.
To: TexasCowboy
He is awesome, and He is infallible!Absolutely! I know that. I tend to be impatient. I also know His timing is perfect. He has shown that to me repeatly. Well there is nothing more I can do besides what I am doing. The rest is entirely in God's Hands - and to Him will be the Praise! He can do the impossible.
What a beautiful piece of property. Is that in Texas? Please when it is up and running post pictures - would love to see it. Thank you so much for your prayers and for sharing Logan's story. Here is Nicholas - Why US who has greatly affected my life. Jean

Yes I am continueing to pray for you also and your situation.
Hebrews 12:2 - 3 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
It is easy to start to lose heart, that is what satan wants us to do. I read a devotion the other day that talked about dieting. The person said that she kept her bible close at hand, so that if she started to be tempted to faulter she would start to read it. Maybe that is what we need to do. If satan starts to send those flaming arrows of discouragement we need to grab our bibles and read and pray and order him away. You know I am talking to myself here as much as to you. :o)
