Did my run. Ugh... not sure I can up it next week.

I think I may TRY the first interval of day 1 for next week...if it's too hard, I'll drop back to week 2. I'm assuming I probably WILL drop back, which is fine. Well...it's a bit disappointing, but on the other hand one week in the long run isn't that big of a deal, and I'd rather NOT do something that ends up leaving me discouraged.

Boy, am I ever behind here at the Hole...

I finished the book. Not a very happy ending, was it? *snif* Maybe the new one will add something more positive to the stories of the people from Doomsday?

Went snowshoeing today. I did OK, once I learned to walk with my feet far apart and not get them tangled up! I was using Dad's new ones (he bought another pair), which are pretty big. It was kinda fun just the same. Didn't stay out for long, though. Maybe Dad'll go out with me sometime and go for a longer walk.

Oh, and I was given a little more info on the oldest brother of that family...he served in the Marines for four years or a bit more than that and is now a programmer or something along those lines, and still lives in Vermont, though on the NY side a little over an hour away. Hm...

It has been a slow day!

Good luck with the older brother person. Geeks make very good husbands, I've been told...

And glad you enjoyed Doomsday, though it is depressing, yes. But so good...

I hear ya on that! I've found that it's better for me to do something that's manageable enough I can do it consistently rather than going gung-ho one session but then I can't motivate myself to do that every time and I get discouraged. Right now I try to do a moderate routine three days a week, usually S-Tu-Th. This week I started off feeling blah so I slacked and got behind, but I did force myself to do it last night and felt a lot better after. It actually helped motivate me to see you two and others on the list talking about it. Is there an offical Hobbit Hole exercise support group? :)

Hmmm. That young man sounds VEY interesting! It is hoped you'll get to meet him sometime. Maybe HIS siblings will go home and tell them about YOU!
