>>Did my run. Ugh... not sure I can up it next week.

>I think I may TRY the first interval of day 1 for next week...if it's too hard, I'll drop back to week 2. I'm assuming I probably WILL drop back, which is fine. Well...it's a bit disappointing, but on the other hand one week in the long run isn't that big of a deal, and I'd rather NOT do something that ends up leaving me discouraged.

I hear ya on that! I've found that it's better for me to do something that's manageable enough I can do it consistently rather than going gung-ho one session but then I can't motivate myself to do that every time and I get discouraged. Right now I try to do a moderate routine three days a week, usually S-Tu-Th. This week I started off feeling blah so I slacked and got behind, but I did force myself to do it last night and felt a lot better after. It actually helped motivate me to see you two and others on the list talking about it. Is there an offical Hobbit Hole exercise support group? :)

Nah, Rosie and I are just being exercise partners... neither of us are in the shape we'd like to be in, and working out "together" helps. A little.

BTW, 'funkle' means you have five or more posts in a row without someone else commenting. Unless you're spamming. And "Mini-moot" is the official term for a local gathering of two or more Holers.

Not really! Jen and I are just teaming up and trying to get in better shape. We've been using the program here in conjunction with (for my part anyway) just trying to be more active. Jen is also doing Atkins.
