The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

You got too nice a car to waste in the water

It was almost time for a new one anyway. That one was dirty and needed a wash and an oil change.

Go ahead, say something silly.

Dennis Kucinich has many good points and has valuable things to say. Maybe we should all vote for him.

Hey... you wanted silly...

Okay. I guess that counts as saying something silly. It is past your bedtime darlin'. I'll talk to you tomorrow if you're here. :-)

Thank you.

Morning all-

Am back from White Sands, I'm tired and super busy- will probably be pretty scarce for a few weeks. Take care!

I have a shirt with a quote from Erasmus that says, "When I get a little money I buy books, and if there's any left over sometimes I buy food and clothes" :)

I want one of those!

Bakshi Gandalf has spastic hands...keeps milking a invisible giant cow. Or that's what we decided it looked like.

Nothing prepares you to be a winner in life better then learning what it is like to lose. The PC folk have ruined so many kids this way... by never letting them feel what it is like to lose they completely remove the desire to win.

Yeah, I was just discussing this with someone the other day. Used to be, if you had challenges, you had to face up to them and conquer them. Now...if you have a reading disability, for example, they make special consessions to you, and you never focus on your capabilities. If that makes sense?
