The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That is amazing!!

These knives were meant to be there for the Hobbit Hole, which was meant to pass them on to the soldiers.

And that's a very encouraging thought.

Chamomile tea is definitely gonna be in order tonight...and a zantac.

You another herbal tea person? I'm drinking something called Tension Tamer right now that helps me with my migraines. I've read chamomile is good for digestion, which I guess relates to your chili fries/cheese/onions/beans consumption, LOL!

WOOHOOOO! Hey Wneighbor! We got another Tension Tamer drinker, here, sis!

I was really feeling a lot of stress a while back and Wneighbor suggested I drink the stuff. Excellent stuff!

The knives are part of the Hobbit Hole troop support effort.

More tea drinkers... amazingly, I'm 99.999999% English, and yet drink no tea.

Sigh... gotta pack now for my trip Wednesday... maybe I'll have time for writing afterwards.

Steve's coming home soon...he's at a "point where he has to stop", meaning he needs to go to school to work on his schoolwork, not able to do it in his office as usual. He's gonna do that tomorrow evening.

Unfortunately, I didn't see it; I'm just going by the descriptions I've read here. It does sound out of character for him. Maybe someone put him up to it at the last minute or something so he wasn't prepared in what he said.

LOL That's another characteristic of the Hobbit Hole...we throw a lot of recipes around. We've toyed with the idea of a Hobbit Hole recipe book, even.

I got the best hotwings recipe from OT...

Enjoy!

I usually skip the chili powder and throw in a cayenne.

I'll be here for a minute or so more!

Matthew just made the ice...he puts water in ice trays and puts them in the freezer whenever there are "empties" sitting on the counter.

He's so funny...he gets a nickel for every tray he fills. He was just telling me that this particular batch of ice would be extremely high-quality...not too full, not too shallow.

He's really funny...takes a simple task and is so proud of the job he does on it.

He's a good boy...I'm really lucky.

I'm going now. See ya later, aligator!

I did. Boy, that was hard! And I fell off the treadmill...

Just finished and came in to see if you had. Hard...yes. I swear that clock speeds up when I'm walking and slows down when I'm running. The final three minutes was just horrid. But I did it.

Gotta go shower now. Typing with sweaty fingers...icky icky icky. Bad hobbit!

I have to catch up on the days' posts, too! Was gone all day!
