The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

The Oscars in a huddle look a little odd, though. And why's your neighbor stopping in, anyway?

Need some housework elves...do ya think Legolas needs a gig? Let me know if you find out his rates...
Heh...doing better now, though. I folded a load of laundry, got another started, and did the dishes. I really SHOULD mop the kitchen floor before I go to bed, but I think I'll procrastinate. I'm good at that.

I'm in a Mahler mood tonight... I'm in a Howard Shore mood. Listening to the RoTK soundtrack. Coming up on The Fields of the Pelennor. That is one of my favorites, especially when the choral part is very desperate sounding then it goes into the glorious triumphant part!

The Oscars in a huddle look a little odd, though. Everybody's a critic!

Ecurbh, I appreciate your photoshop talents and all, but can the new Hobbit Hole image just die, quickly? Ugh, it's giving me nightmares, and I missed the stupid event in the first place. But...but...but...I missed it!
To: Corin Stormhands
Corin..... if you are gonna go off and leave for more than an hour at a time, you are gonna miss a few mini-dramas!
To: Corin Stormhands
Be grateful for small favors...
How was your trip, anyway?

LOL I always put my teapot on to heat up right when I start something I don't want to do. Like mopping the floor, I'd put the teapot on but I would put it to heat on low, so that by the time it got heated up, I'm finishing up!
Usually it's to scrub the sink. Every night I clean the kitchen and when I get to the last thing, scrubbing out the sink, I put the kettle on and crank up the heat. Then I scrub the sink like mad to get it done before the teapot whistles!
When the sink is done, I put my teabag in to steep, sweep under the table and suck that up with the dustbuster...tea's ready, I'm done...time to SIT!
