The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

See you later, chica! I'm so happy you can finally get back there and finish packing! You're only a few years behind. LOL!

I'll probably have to wait until "The Passion" comes on on video / DVD before I see it, unfortunately. But I'll be keeping an eye out for any comments on it - I'd be interested in what you think.
Applebees - one just opened in Littleton, NH - the "big city" across the river from us. We'll have to check it out sometime! I imagine it's going to be VERY crowded all the time, though...it's about the only fairly nice sit down restaurant around the Littleton area! There are some small ethnic kinda places, and a diner that isn't very good...but not much else. They're going to do really well, I imagine.

You should shimmy!! Really, it's a great way to release a whole lot of energy real quick without destroying any property!
Just bend your arms up like you're gonna do the twist and start twisting and moving all over the place at breakneck speed.

Shimmying is something you're an expert at, right, 2J?
To: RMDupree
Josh is that way when something exciting is going to happen...I usually try to get his lunch packed the night before because me standing in one place calmly spreading peanut butter is too much for him when he's excited! LOL

It's a God-given talent! ;-)

'Cept I gotta be careful...I'm gettin' on in years...liable to throw my back out if I shimmy too vigorously.
Thankfully, there isn't too much to get that excited about.
LOL

I've never witnessed it, if he has.
Hmmm...I know I shimmied when I was his age!

That was a chunk of my day yesterday...even though the guy isn't connected to us anymore in any way. Got the call a couple hours after it happened. The whole story is bad. Kind of a sad case of a life spiralling down into destruction, with a little media help along the way. Why his friends didn't convince him to move to New Mexico or Arizona or somewhere further away months ago escapes me. There's no way he should be in this area, it'll eat him up psychologically and be the end of him.

If he wasn't having a meltdown before... This might bring one on.... Driving around with two flat tires and nearly weaving into some cops on the side of the road with another pullover?
Maybe he can still find peace in New Mexico.

Good morning...
Is FR supposed to be fixed now, so it doesn't run so slow?
'Cause, if gets much more "fixed", I'll fall asleep waiting for it...
