The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I'd rather have a pattern. If I can get it. This one is number 3981.
I am also thinking painter's canvas...is that machine washable?

Well...mine tells me that it has 1 message. When I push the "listen" button, I get a message that my call cannot be completed and to dial again.

Check the phone-maker website. I forgot how to get my messages but there were instructions online.

Doesn't seem like lettuce would work well...be awfully messy.
I had the last of the un-chili. It was good. But I wish I had something for dessert. Pretty much just mental as I'm not hungry, but...
If I get desperate, I can always run and get a candybar from the bookstore, but I'm tryin' to be good!

It says to dial my own number and put my code thingy in. Last time I tried it, it wouldn't work...I got some dialing error message...so maybe they had a problem on their end. Hehehe....it was a message from the Real Estate Lady the weekend I went home for the ice storm....I am sooooo bad!

Sorry to get everyone's hopes up about the knives, but I thought there was a chance there for a minute. As excited as you all were thinking we got them, is how excited we were to get the radios. Thanks again everyone, and we'll keep hoping the knives turn up.

Big lettuce leaves. Romaine lettuce. I put the stuff in and roll it up.
Don't say dessert... I ought to stop by the store after work. I'm all out of ice cream.

Does this mean *you* get to go home? I hope so!!!
Weather weenie just popped on my TV screen. He says, "Snow on the way now."
Do, I wanna shoot the TV? Would that help?

Isn't there anyone you can call to help?
I called and asked about the voice mail charges...that's when I found out it was free to call and leave a voice mail, and free for me to check it from a land line.
I can check it from my cell phone too, but only in the evenings or on the weekend, so I won't use my parents minutes.
The only time I actually use the phone during the day time is when they call me (hey, it's their minutes!) Otherwise, I wait till the evening.

See, mine says do that if it's from another phone. With my phone I just hold down the '1' key and it goes to the voicemail.

Mmmmm...ice cream.
I'd like something really gooey, with lots of caramel and chocolate. Friendly's ice cream.
To: Overtaxed
Ok..now they way mine works from my LAND line is like this...
I call my cellphone number and let it ring till the voice mail answers. Then I push star password star. It takes me to my messages.

I hope so! But I doubt it! I asked my boss and he said, "You sound just like my kids! if it snows can we come home" Don't shot your TV, shot the weather man
To: RosieCotton
I've been really good with my diet all week, so the ice cream tastes really good - just as though it was real - and my Diet Dr Pepper is better than usual.
But oh, I'd love a nice soft chocolate-chip cookie...
