The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That is what Jason tells me all the time. I have gotten better since high school. Like most of the Gonzales women he says. And I saw one girl I graduated with at a wedding last summer and she got pissy and told me, You are not suppose to graduate, get married, have a kid and get better looking. I think it flatters me to have short hair now. Not that long down to my tail hair. But I don't see what others see. You know!

Well, Dana. There is more to beauty than you see in your mirror. I know a lot of the time you are looking at the outside you and I keep hearing you pick out all the flaws in yourself.
But, a lot of your beauty comes by the love and happiness within you. Your peace with your relationship with Jesus and contentment with your hubby and baby. These are things that *DO* show externally mija. There is always a sparkle in your eyes. A glitter. (cept when you're cryin') And you have such a huge sincere smile that it's easy to see you are anxious to enjoy life and share your joy with other people.
You may think these things are internal... but they *really* do show externally in your countenance. You shine!
Now, I still think your outter appearance is glorious... but you find so much fault in yourself. I don't see that when I look at you. But, I *REALLY* don't think you see that extra stuff that comes from within you that shows on the outside. You just wear a joy that a lot of other people can only envy because they just don't have that same sweet spirit on the inside that you do.

Hey, I wrote up that document telling you how to post. But, that was when my email at home ceased to function. I got it working again. Send me an email at the home address reminding me to mail that to you.

We really enjoyed
Equilibrium and the kids did, too. Clare was comparing it with
1984, which she saw at a friend's house recently, and considered it much more 'teen friendly'. There is violence, kinda like the Matrix, but no sex, that we could remember. It is a very interesting story. But then it has Sean Bean (but not enough), so there's not much more that needs saying! ;o)
I think Jr. would enjoy it!

I got pictures of her in the 3rd grade too gnad. I'd post 'em but she'd chase me with her elf-bow! :-)
This young lady, PQ, was my oldest daughter's best friend through elementary school. So, far as I'm concerned she's another one of my kids. I'm just that proud of her. :-)

But then it has Sean Bean (but not enough), so there's not much more that needs saying! Sean Bean reading poetry, at that...
I admit I'm not the biggest Boromir fan, but I DID like that...too bad it was such a short part.
To: JenB
I know the feeling. Believe me.

Oh, yeah!! They can bring home info to their big brother! ;o) Maybe HE'LL bring them up next time! Hmmmm... I'm thinkin' if this visit with this family is good, Rosie may need to drive her sibs down to visit that family some weekend. I mean, she has the van. They have a brother who's her contemporary. Gees. Picture perfect!
