The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I think this'll be kinda fun! More so than just trying on my own, in any case.

IT work isn't exactly conducive to cardiovascular fitness... It's not???? Uh oh... and next I suppose you'll tell me that spending my weekends holding the couch down against the forces of inertia to keep it from flying out to the moon... that isn't good exercise either???
To: RosieCotton
We'll get there!
And you're absolutely right, I probably move less than you do in a day. All I do is sit at my desk. You at least have to deal with users sometimes.
I'm figuring some of the "weeks" on the chart may take me longer... like I might do week two twice, depending on how well I do. We'll see. It would have me done just in time for the weather to be nice enough for me to run outside.

Believe it or not, it's a country song!

You are all in our thoughts, now and for the days to come.
To: RosieCotton
[sigh] I was afraid of that. Dang it.
To: Ramius
I'm DARN good at that, though.

Hi Rose!
Got another Flinx book today. Thursday, I have a test in one class so I'll get out early, so I'm going by the used bookstore and seeing what I can pick up there.

Good news on the interview ksen. Will continue to pray.

At this point, even walking will be more of a workout than I've done in some time - so taking it slow is probably a very good idea, though patience is not somethin' I'm good at!
OK, going to go read Princess Bride for awhile. I figured out that I was NOT done the intro...didn't realize how long it went on! So I skipped to Chapter One and am reading that instead. ;-)

surprising how many people get caught for just that reason alone. Yeah....FDA should fine them for not using explosion-proof refrigerators. :)
To: RosieCotton
Hehehe. Chapter One is great.

Tommy G. accused me of hiding a body in an old hot water heater he helped me cart off one time. hmmmm...I got an old hot water heater...reckon I could sell it on eBay?
How would you list that?
To: RosieCotton
I'm just going to start walking at work....when the weather warms up. :)

glad we didn't have to storm the VA...yet...
we'll keep prayin'.
To: Corin Stormhands

We could be exercise buddies remotely! If you'd be willin' to have me, that is. ;-) The more exclusive fitness club here (that we couldn't afford) has Internet connections on their Lifecycles...

Whatever it is that PE and elfboy have got - I'm prayin' that you don't get! You need to stay healthy as possible!
Sorry to hear they are sick though. :-(
