The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

LOL.... I'm still moving. A little at a time. I only got about 1/3 as much done today as I did yesterday though. Too many breaks. And long thoughtful times figuring out how to fix stuff.

Sounds like God to me! Are you planning to go there again or was this a one time thing? Would be good to be someplace where you know someone AND get to play music!

I'm just wiped out though...thinking about seeing the doctor. I'm just tired all the time! Maybe my anemia is giving me fits or maybe I'm just old! LOL
Anyway, I think I'm gonna bathe and hit the hay.
I'll be out and about all day tomorrow because of the banquet...expect me when you see me!

If you're wiped out why are you drinking Sleepytime? I only drink that when I can't go to sleep! REALLY can't go to sleep!

'Cause it tastes good! But the thing is, I can be bone tired and not be able to sleep! How can that be?
I'm thinking a nice hot soak, the rest of this tea and to bed fairly early might make me feel less tired tomorrow...
I keep trying this and it doesn't work! LOL

Nope, no rocket launchers. Yet! I just didn't want to cut it down, in case I wanted to rewind the coil with more turns. It does pick up the local talk radio station very well. Elf-boy can listen to Rush and Hannity now. LOL

Oh! I get it! I don't care so much for the taste of Sleepytime but it does make me go to sleep really well. It's kinda minty. I like mint in black tea but usually not anytime else.... cept when I have an upset tummy.

I'm not the only woman to find old shotgun shells in my underwear drawer am I? As a matter of fact, no. You're not. Heh.

Maybe I'm not the one to comment on the pocket flag 300, but my first thought is why? I guess we'll just drop that idea, then. It sounds nice, but $65 can be spent on something else, instead.
By the way, I'm buying 50 EMT shears tomorrow. If any of you want some for your care packages, let me know. I'll be sending them out with new knife shipments, because it shouldn't cost anything extra for postage.

Well, don't just drop it based on my opinion. That was just my first thought.

There's order to Flinx? Whaddayaknow. I have no clue which order I read them, but heartily enjoyed them.Oh good, so I haven't totally messed up my enjoyment of the series. Great. I'm looking forward to getting more... it seems like good old-fashioned SF to me, the kind that doesn't get written much now. Always glad to find someone keeping up the traditions.

No, that's another guy, who is alive and (fairly) well.
I knew Ernie for 23 years, so am sorry and upset he's gone, he was one of the guys, but the other fellow is a very much closer friend.

As a matter of fact, no. You're not. Heh. One of the nicest things about the Hobbit Hole! LOL I know at least I can find somebody so I don't feel quite so unfeminine!

If I watch any more of that, it'll make me pull my eardrums out of my head.<howling with laughter!>
I have the zapper! I keep bouncing back between the Pro Bowl and the Grammys ... Da Bear literally pulled at his hair and whined, loudly, when I was watching two mis-matched presenters do their thing.
It was sooooo funny!

Yawn... you don't win any unfeminine contests... I don't have shotgun shells but I've got plenty of less-than-ladylike tendencies...
But right now I have to hit the hay, or tomorrow I'll be too tired to function. And ugh, it's a client-site day. No internet, no happy Hobbit hole...
Um, I'm losing track of my thoughts. So goodnight, all.
