The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

The parts are all attached to the same body sweetheart. If one part goes, it all goes. :-)

I don't know why you are so hesitant to go in.... I regard anything that doesn't involve the stirrup chair as a pretty easy doc visit!

Say... who was talking the other day about men being too stubborn to go to the doctor?

Twasn't me!

I have never made any bones about refusing to go to the doctor unless it is absolutely necesary! It took me a while to go when I broke my neck, I waited more than 24 hours when I broke my heelbone and about 18 hours when I broke 2 bones in my wrist. And Myranda was born at home.

I'm open about my inclinations in that area!

Okay. Tammie is here now. She checked my head. She thinks we're okay to just sit here and hang out. No worries.

You did a home birth?

Good lord, woman! I'm already planning to demand every painkiller the hospital's got... actually, it's more a matter of at least one, and maybe two, of my siblings would probably have died at birth if they hadn't been at a hospital. Things like that scare me...

I read the list to Tammie. She says she knows what to watch for. And she's not takin' me. So you ought to feel better.

HAng the pickup driver. I remember hearing something about Buckner the other morning, but it's nowhere near my drive, so didn't pay more attention. Anybody you know?

OK, I tried to post a reply on the other thread, and it said it was locked. What exactly does that mean. I am still pretty new here.

I've watched too much ER.

You know, you can have a subdural and not even know it... be going along just fine, all hunky dory, and then drop over dead.

Poof.

It means it got too big and they wanted us to start a new one. We are reluctant to move, and sometimes they have to kick us out like that!

Glad you found your way here! Good evening! What time is it where you are?
