Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

YAY. Birthday cake.
I believe my vey first post to HH 4 involved cake.

Um...we hobbits here play whistles, fiddles, and various other stringed instruments...
I'm thinking "real" hobbits would like much the same instruments. I think of their music as being somewhat Celtic - Scottish and Irish dance music and the like. Fun music!

Elves like music some of which starts out with someone yelling, "Cotton-eyed Joe!"
And songs to which you can two-step real close to your honey.
Or, waltz across Texas to.

Morning HHDers! Thank you for all of the sweet birthday wishes!
I'm looking forward to my ULTIMATE gift! ENTMOOT!!!! LOL!
I haven't gotten the pics developed yet, so I apologize for not posting the Flat Frodo images yet. I'll have them up today!
SuziQ - I can bring my Extended Versions with me, but I'll be leaving on Sunday so the weeklong mooters will be without. I'm bringing the Rankin Bass The Hobbit and I also have Monty Python and the Holy Grail if anyone wants me to bring it. :-)
Sam Cree - I'm planning on getting up at 4am Friday morning and arriving in Melbourne by 8am, then heading to the store and being at the castle by 10 or so. I didn't think you or Jeanne would want to leave that early, but let me know.
ksen - What time are the g'nads arriving? Should I meet you wherever you are meeting them?
Hair and ecurbh - I will be there for the wedding...no doubt about it! July 3rd is SuziQ's and Corin's birthdays too! Lovely day to get hitched IMHO!
OK, enough of my jibber-jabber! Breakfast time!

At least I can bring the light sweatshirts and leave the heavy ones here.

At last, someone who understands my obsessing over this!!! :-)
Only thing is, if I add sweatshirts I'm gonna have to find a larger bag to pack. But, you can see I'm thinkin' enough about it to have already thought that one through! :-)

I've never learned to dance to that stuff. I'm left handed, and literally have two right feet.
