Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I've decided to make black bean soup...some for a snack later, but mostly for tomorrow and later this week. I don't have as many good things to put in mine as you did, but it should still be good!
To: GulfWar1Vet
He's going to visit family in Kentucky, as I understood it. Corin, you still there?
Dunno about the NetFlix thing.
Gonna go read more Rex Stout for awhile...
To: RosieCotton

Oh yeah, and the guest room/Myranda's *new* room is all made up for company now.
I will be there, soon, before summer.

In order to settle the earlier questions about July tides.... I just got this result from here:
www.saltwatertides.com
Tides for Arletta, Hale Passage starting with July 3, 2004.
Day High Tide Height Sunrise Moon Time % Moon
/Low Time Feet Sunset Visible
Sa 3 Low 12:46 AM 8.1 5:20 AM Set 6:20 AM 99
3 High 5:12 AM 13.3 9:10 PM Rise 10:58 PM
3 Low 12:53 PM -4.2
3 High 8:25 PM 15.0
Does this settle it? Doesn't it conflict with what we found before? - I am sure you can figure out the timing for sure, and probably have a better source to check, but wouldn't this table suggest that the dock would be dry and there would be plenty of beach by around mid-morning?
To: HairOfTheDog
Can we just all stand in the water if this doesn't settle it? LOL
I guess since all indicators are okay for me to be there I oughtta start thinking about finding myself a Hawaiian shirt huh?
To: My back yard
Oh, I might have to wash the sheets again if you take too long. Hate to have to do that.
To: HairOfTheDog; Ramius
So, have you determined what has become of Ramius' civic duty?
To: Wneighbor
Oh - I don't know whether he is on jury today!
To: Wneighbor
Yes.... Hawaiian shirt and some shorts! And beach shoes like Corin's would be good!
To: HairOfTheDog
So, um, did you ever break the news to your dad?

Been crafting an email this afternoon... :~D
To: RosieCotton
Last night for dinner I made something new, sorta. I used browned pork sausage, cheese sauce, and fresh tortillas, in three layers, then with another layer of cheese on top, baked at 350 for 15 minutes, topped with guacamole and sour cream, with black bean and white corn salsa to taste. Yum! (It's completely gone ~There was not a single leftover for lunch today)
