Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

From the pics they all look pretty tacky.
What is it about a $10,000 Gucci dress that is so damn ugly? There are probably $50 wal-mart dresses that would look better on any of them. Especially Elton.

How good of a predictor for Oscars are the GG?
To: HairOfTheDog
Right, wasted enough time on freaks. Good night.
We've got inches of snow already. This does not look good. Maybe they'll shut down the client site and I can just go to the office.

I haven't got a clue, I hate Hollywood stuff. But at least someone sees the light.
Really got to get to bed...

Dang! I missed the BOG moment! We were watching Elijah on Deep Impact and turned back to the GGs as they were on stage and PJ was accepting! I'm thrilled they won. I saw Best Score, Best Director and Best Picture. Did it win anything else?
To: SuziQ
Best Song.... the Aniie Lennox song.
It was the only other nomination.
To: GulfWar1Vet
..and I can't get on TORN! Bah!
Overload, perhaps.

ROTK Wins Fourth Golden Globe Award!1/25/04, 10:54 pm EST - Xoanon
ROTK has won it's fourth and last award it was nominated for! (highlight to read) ROTK has won Best Dramatic Picture!! Accepting the award was Peter Jackson, along with Bob Shaye, Michael Lynne, Fran Walsh, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett and others. The stage was full and many people were cheering! Philippa Boyens, Dominic Monaghan, John Rhys-Davies was also spotted on stage. Peter Jackson thanked Tolkien and Saul Zaentz. It was a quick speech due to the time limits of the show...but CONGRATS PJ ET ALL!!!!
To: GulfWar1Vet
Oh well. Off to bed for this Hobbit.
G'night

(We wants the Precious, my Love, yes, we wants the Oscar for Best Pic/Best Director!)

How to take really beautiful wimmin and make them look hideous is a secret only homosexual clothing designers know. It's cause they hates women, that's what it is!
To: HairOfTheDog
LOL!! I didn't mean the BOG moment, I meant the BIG moment!! Was so excited I didn't proofread! I saw on the highlighted thing from TORN that "Into the West" had won. I'm just so excited cause I love that song!
To: SuziQ
But that's the thing..... gay men usually ~like~ wimmin.... they just have no idea what people find attractive about them, so they mess 'em up trying, I guess.
To: HairOfTheDog
Ok, we swept the golden globes!!! Best score, best song, best director, best drama.
Fran Walsh was beautiful, PJ wore shoes (though he failed to comb his hair *sigh*) Catherine Zeta Jones, Queen Latifa, and Renee Zelwiger are making curves beautiful again.
Hideous dresses: J-lo's day-glo sherbert orange toga thing, Nichole Kidman's strange, strange, metallic fish-scale mosaic art thingy, Jennifer Aniston's 'gonna-pop-out-of-this-thing-any-minute-even-though-there's-not-much-to-pop' little black dress. Diane Keaton's white, gloved Matrix wannabe getup, Whatsherbucket Garner's deflated balloon thingy (it was purple and rouched), and Jaime Lee Curtis's was totally gray and washed out. She really needed a red dress.

To: SuziQ
