I am surprised they would do anything like this on tape delay, since it is a west-coast event on a Sunday..... pre-empt something I would think.

They don't delay the Oscars, they are simulcast. That would ~slay~ me this time around.

We never get to know when we're on tape delay. Hate it. There's just no point in tape-delaying *anything*. Least of all *the news*. That's why the network news here is even MORE of a complete waste of time.
