The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Yes, and that would suck. I would just hate to have to deal with that.

It would be very weird, for sure.

Oh, yeah. The duct tape would be on the other mouth, then.

Hmmm... funny that. I've had one really good romance, and it turned out to be the worst relationship ever.

Dagnabit.

Has anyone been particularly bad today?

Oh, got a rough draft of my story done. It's crap! But it's less than 500 words, which is the point.

Good....

Corin, I know you're well behaved but sometimes you do get sucked in. Don't get banned, we'll be forced to post annoying "Bring Corin Back" threads and Thermobarbic bombs will get lobbed around.

But seriesly, this looks like good news. Maybe it'll become safe. And maybe someone will post more interesting articles.

It's really too cold for ice cream anyway.

Pshaw! It's NEVER too cold for ice cream! LOL!!

Clare's Girl Scout troop made supper tonight for some homeless families who are living at the local Congregational Church. We made Tacos and Fajitas and made Ice Cream Sundaes for dessert. The kids were thrilled!!

Well, I haven't had either, so I'm sulking tonight.

Oh don't sulk Jen! I didn't find someone I could really say was awesome until I was much older than you. And by that time I really appreciated him!!!

Now days when I see friends who have just settled for somebody I always think of how blessed I am to have had a really incredible guy for a little while.

I learned something awefully important from that too. Even though I would really like to have someone in my life again, it is not worth settling for someone. I know, I know, Hair will say I need to lower my qualifications. But, it's not qualifications that I fell for that last time. It was just somebody who walked into my life and felt perfect for me. And I feel safe in saying that he thought I was perfect for him too. My friend Martha and I had a long talk about that last Monday. She kinda set my mind at rest about some things I'd been wondering about regarding that.

I am not sure, but I think he quit the game early!

That sounds like the game may not have been going the way he liked..... or he had something better to do!

Ironically after all the shenanigans I've pulled over there (I know it's hard to believe, but a lot of it is for "effect"), I got my first warning this week for using the term "swarm" which the Calvinists over there actually adopted themselves.

Also had two posts pulled. First time that's ever happened.

But there's a new sherrif in town.

Hmmm... perhaps it's like a certain term which is ok for one group to use but not outsiders?
