Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That's encouraging... I guess... I should perhaps look at my list of qualifications and see if any of them are negotiable. Because it's about twelve pages long right now. Let's see. I guess he doesn't have to like science fiction, he just has to be ok with me liking it... drat, it's a problem having high standards.

A good sense of humor is just about my first requirement! I couldn't imagine living for the rest of my LIFE with someone who couldn't laugh about things!

I should perhaps look at my list of qualifications and see if any of them are negotiable. Let me edit it. :~D

Darn right! Of course, now there is one less single woman here. ;~D Do not think that it has not been noticed that she has found herself a first class single man either! :-)

Interests can always be developed...they may bring people together, but they aren't what keeps people together.

Dinner's finished and dishes done... I am beat now. Gonna hit the couch and watch the end of the game. Didn't make it through
The Maltese Falcon last night, so we may try it again. We'll see.
Good night!

I've got "On the Town" somewhere....maybe in NC. That's the one I was trying to think of earlier.

See you all in the morning! Well, except you, ramius... hehhee... just noticed that. Wonderfully perceptive, you are. :-)
To: RosieCotton
Right, the interests aren't mandatory. He should, however, be smarter than me, employable, honorable, Presbyterian or something close, devoted without being a wuss, strong without being harsh, and at least slightly geeky.
Actually.... I want a man who's a lot like my father. Talk about raising expectations! Maybe I'll let Dad screen potential applicants for me.
