The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

No paprika in German potato salad. At least...not the way Mom made it. And you know how that is...

But regular egg type potato salad got paprika on top.

The submarine had a little flying thing that it could launch and sure... that could fly and go into outer space and whatever. Of course!

That doesn't look like rain rot. Rain rot isn't that white or in one big patch like that, and the skin doesn't come off in a single piece. I wonder if she didn't injure the skin on top by rubbing or tearing it on something.

They both totally missed that. I was watching. Might as well have written it in code.

They both heard it and missed it! That is funny! :-)

"amine"? What's that?

Ah-nee-may. The visual equivalent of crack... sigh...

Oops! Good timing!

Though I'm almost ready to go to bed. Very sleepy this evening, for some reason. And the beans are done, so I have food for tomorrow, and I can put the laundry in the dryer right before bed or first thing tomorrow...

Just going to finish my tea before I go.

Is FR really slow for anyone else?

I R here. :-)

For a little bit.

VEY sleepy. It's catching up to me. I think I was grouchy in class tonight. But, it wasn't the students. Two of 'em were having problems with their drawings. Normally I know what's up right off.... tonight I just couldn't figure out what the problems were. Frustrating that! It doesn't happen very often to me with AutoCAD.

Trust me... they both totally missed it.

I would have heard about it Sunday if they had even the slightest clue. But have little fear... I've been listening lately to both of them talking about how much they really like what is happening and how much they hope it is the "real thing" and that it will last. [cough] Biting my tongue like this is really starting to hurt.

The only thing I can think of that might be any issue at all is that from *their* point of view they only really know about a couple of months of relationship. I've tried to get across the concept that you two have known each other for a couple of years now, and they acknowledge that, but they didn't grow up with this newfangled "internet" thingy. I have no idea if they will think that July is "all of a sudden" or not.

Thanks.... I would like to think it is not a fungus, but that she just ~did something~ out in the pasture. Was odd to see the skin die and fall off without an injury that I noticed, but then again I was gone last week and they were at a sitter's house. It's weird!

Ramius.... just one ear.
