Thank you Suzi! I'm glad you liked my bread. I always think it's just the plainest stuff but I LOVE to make it! and I seldom eat much. LOL
It has always made me feel close to Grama to make it though. Even when I was married the first time and lived far from home, making her kind of bread just made me feel close. Making it for ya'll was a happy thing for me! (specially since it was well received!)
Actually, sometimes I wonder if I'm not just a little over the top with my sentimental things. I brought that fuzzy yellow bathrobe with me because it was hers and I wanted something of her there. It gave me a very satisfying feeling having something of her there with me. She would have loved it so!!! That is the kind of trip she'd have made too. :-)

Why do I get the feeling that we'll have to supply an entire platoon or company when the others see it? :) Actually, since her mom is one of my closest friends and left cash on the table for the project when she visited me after Grama died she has already told Debra all about us. The message I got from Debra was that the guys in her platoon want hot rod magazines! LOL

The 3 of us (and Myranda) have been talking about going out there for so long that I think maybe that's why that was the topic that came to mind when you and I were discussing interesting things in Texas.

The message I got from Debra was that the guys in her platoon want hot rod magazines! LOLHot rod magazines are great, but they don't last forever. Especially after they see what a handy universal tool that knife makes. See if you can get an estimate of how many we'll need.
