Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

That's what I was thinking when I posted that. :-)
At entmoot I was telling Ramius about the Marfa lights. I think he doubts! rubbish.

But, the house is still kinda cold. T'stat says 62 now. I want it warmer before I shower! 62?! My gosh! How are you able to type?
Actually, it's pretty warm in here now. My brothers were here and turned up the heat. It WAS 64, but I was cookin' and didn't feel cold. The stove was warm and I was moving around!
Cooking can be very useful for keeping warm here in the winter. Wish I had more than just me to cook for.

Your house...that's in OK right? Your probably not far from WN are you?2J is 4 hours from me. She is closer to Dallas.

That's OK. We'll just have to have another Entmoot!
I kinda felt guilty about not doing any cooking there...but I don't know how to make anything fancy, especially for a crowd. I would have been very self-conscious about anything I made. Heck...I was self-conscious about the way I fried eggs!
But maybe between now and then I can think of SOMEthing. If only dessert or snacks!

Did you guys notice that the QB of this year's Super Bowl champions is in attendance at the State of the Union address? ;^)

Listening to the audio of last night's Dean speech a couple times over. What a freak!
To: RosieCotton
Gee Rosie. I don't think it mattered. I love to cook and didn't mind doing it whenever it needed doing.
Next time though, I'll drag you in there with me and show you how to cook my stuff! LOL

I think soup and bread or scalloped potatoes wouldn't have been a big hit.
But maybe next time I'll make something.
At least I tried to do dishes as much of the time as I could - once I figgered out how to use the machine. I'd never used one before Entmoot.
To: ksen
Nope. I didn't. VEY cool!

Soup is always a hit with me.
Unless it is chicken.

Gonna go to bed and read for a bit. Then I plan to get up early tomorrow and make a good breakfast!
See ya tomorrow!
To: ksen
I am "watching" and listening but no i missed that
To: Wneighbor
No chicken. Lentil and sausage, probably. But we usually eat soup as a meal - not a first course or something. With plenty of bread.
I don't do chicken soup. I suppose it's OK once in a great while, but...it's not something I like very much.
Good night, thread!
To: HairOfTheDog

To: Wneighbor
