Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I think I'm gonna like this Netflix thing. Our first three are on their way today, and I already have 50 more titles in our queue! The best part is not having to go to town to rent or return them. You know how we feel about going to town.

You know how we feel about going to town. Are you too afraid to go to the mailbox?

I was thinking about doing Netflix as well, but no one I work with could vouch for the service.
Tell me more...

That recipe is almost the same cheesecake that I made except I used 1 1/2 Tblsp. lime juice and added a cup of sour cream instead of heavy cream. It is pretty good, and does have the definite aftertaste of the Splenda, though that is mitigated somewhat by the lime juice.

I use walmart DVD club. $15 a month and I can have 2 DVDs out at any time. We watch them and return them as fast as we can. It's worked real well for us.

Are ya low-carbing then?Yeah, I thought I'd give it a try. Worked well until Christmas, then Entmoot LOL! But I'm back on it now, so this year is gonna be a slimmer one for me!

I don't like the monthly membership thing.

Did someone say Vernor's?Yep. We can't get it here in Vermont, but both my parents are originally from the Midwest, and we got hooked on it fairly early on. They had it in Florida, and we smuggled a 12-pack back with us - divided the cans up in our luggage.
It did survive, but 12 cans really isn't enough...
So we may see what it would take to special order it through the grocery.
I already said that, didn't I? I'm not obsessed or anything, really I'm not.

Meat crust pizza; sounds yummy! I'll give it a try this week! We like LOTS of veggies; onions, peppers, shrooms, etc on our pizza, so instead of the meat on top of the cheese with the veggies, it'll just be on the bottom. I'll bet some Jimmy Dean sausage mixed in with the ground beef would be VEY good!
To: 2Jedismom
Oh wow! I don't think any of our local Wally-Worlds do that though...I've never heard of it before.

Can you buy it online?

Are you too afraid to go to the mailbox?I have no such mailbox phobia. I just can't tell her I'm going 'cause she'll get scared that I'm gonna die. I just have to show up with the mail.

Yeah...but it's fairly expensive, as I recall. A dollare a can or thereabouts. Especially as it's heavy to ship.
To: Overtaxed
Brownies are in the oven. Using Mom's recipe, which doesn't fit on ANY diet plan. Calls for a cup and a half of butter. Mmmm...
