The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Just ate up a big bowl of stir-fried steak and veggies.

I love steak.

One of my oldest, and fondest memories, of my grandpa was seeing his teeth in a glass in the bathroom at night.

You shouldn't be wearin go-aheads in the attic anyway.... not proper worker safety shoes.

If I could take my teeth out, I would, I think.... they just get dirty in your mouth.

OT has been toying with idea as well, I think. I just love mine.

I'll try to get a sample of something online so you can hear it. I don't know if it's really in tune...I would like someone who knows to look at it and check it out someday...perhaps my friend here in Tulsa that plays in an Irish Trad band will check it out for me.

If you donate your knife to someone else, let me know, and I'll send you a replacement. I have five knives that I'm sending out to folks I've met in my travels here on FR. They may never visit the Hobbit Hole, but one of our pocket knives will visit their son/daughter.

Well, I'm sure that sage advice is your attempt to assuage your guilt in the kidnapping of my shoes.

I hope it helps.

I haven't admitted to having the shoes, though I do confess to some collective guilt about them!

Too late now! That just burns me up....

We're thinking about seeing if one of the grocery stores like Shaw's or Price Chopper would be able to special order the stuff. That'd be awesome.
