The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Relief from the week's buzz, released internalised steam.
And sometimes just plain letting go.

OKers.
Will see you when you get back.
Goo dluck, (And save up for the new system. You might have to buy it piecemeal, but you'll have a usable system alot quicker than having to sit on money that you might otherwise spend before buying a complete system.)

I'm glad they're not (as of yet) dealing with all the space-nonsense.

Same here... I think it also allows them to concentrate more on the characters, which is the strength of both movies.

Classic nerd- fest!

I had a couple of those moments in X2... one was when Mystique is scrolling through the computer files, and every name displayed is the "civilian" name of a mutant that has appeared in the comics; the other was when I realized what they were doing with Jean. When she snuck out of the plane and started doing her thing, I was nearly in fanboy heaven.

I loved that movie! I liked the first X-Men just fine, but was just blown away by the second one...

Important announcement to all Hobbit Hole denizens:

Now that I'm caught up on inventory of the HHD pocketknife, I need to ask:

Are there any Hobbit Hole members who are veterans and did not yet receive a HHD knife?

We support not only our active duty troops, but our veterans, too. If you've been overlooked, freepmail me for your HHD pocketknife. It's our way of thanking you for your past service.

I wanted to thank you and mrsksen for all the work you did getting Entmoot set up and running so smoothly! It was a great house, much roomier than I expected, and I know my kids and I were very comfortable!

I so enjoyed meeting everyone, and as Wneighbor said, now we'll be able to recall everyone in 3D!

Whoa! I guess they're OK. Is it gonna take long for them to get it fixed? Were they towing the trailer this time, too?

Yes, they were pulling the trailer...but they are already home.

I told my mom what the Hole dwellers were saying about the weather in Texas and Mom said it was probably for the best that they didn't go. They don't like to drive in rain since that accident, understandably.

Got the computer room and the master bedroom done! It's so EASY now! Only takes a few minutes and I haven't really done any real cleaning in these rooms since before Christmas! The only real chore was removing all the plastic shopping bags from my bedroom closet where Santa had left them!

The boys room is gonna take a bit more work, but nothing like in the past...NOTHING! I used to absolutely dread it...to the point I wouldn't do it at all, you know?

Same here! Enjoyed the first one, but the second one has become an all-time favorite.

I emailed Steve a bit ago...told him I was baking chicken for supper.

He wrote back "Back me a chicken, I'll tell you no lies."
