The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Do you have an updated cell phone list? I'll be leaving here NO LATER THAN 5:30 p.m. today. (whether we're packed or not)
To: All
Later folks. I'll check in after the bored meeting.
To: Corin Stormhands; All
Well, I'm back and amhalfway through the breakfast routine: 1)heat it up down the hall 2) waft the smells of bacon/sausage/steak and eggs as I walk back 3) consume breakfast with gusto and grin evily at the slim-fast queens as they salivate and protest. God bless Dr. Atkins.

I think I'll go out for breakfast today. This thing of not having anything to eat in the house is not usual for me. I need some of your meat and eggs.

Enjoy your breakfast out!
Thought of you yesterday: Have been CADDing so much I can't see straight. Someone decided to have a crisis at the beginning of the week and decided everyone else should be a part of the crisis, too. So I got handed this huge pile of CADD work to fix... grrr. My brain is crosseyed.
But back to it!

Wow! There is a large part of me that wishes I could assist you with that work! if not for entmoot of course....
I really miss sinking my teeth into projects. Now, I just do frilly little drawing things for class demos, exercises and quizes and stuff. VEY boring.

I'm freemailing you my Cell #. I'll be the one meeting you and OT at the airport on Friday. Excellent! It'll be nice to see a familiar face! ;-) Not to mention Bill and Margaret have heard about you and Clare from Stephen...he had SUCH a good time that day, and was disappointed that he wasn't able to come to Entmoot. Maybe next time!
To: SuziQ
I had planned to wait on both of y'all and bring you to the Castle. Rosie and her sibs can wait with us for you, OT. Definitely! And if Jen and WN are there when we get to the fountain, we can always chat for a bit before they leave!
To: RosieCotton
And now I realize Suzi won't see those 'cause she's already gone.
Talkin' to myself, I am...

Good morning! At this time tomorrow we'll be well on our way!
This still almost isn't real to me. I guess it will be tomorrow morning...we're heading out to the airport at about three thirty, I think. I think I'll take a nap when I get home from work and then just stay up.
To: RosieCotton
High today of -3...and here at the college we usually get temps a few degrees below the weather prediction.
Florida is sounding better all the time...

You know us non-mooters will require frequent tell-all updates and copious pictures....

Well, I'm on the mac which I have now set up in the kitchen (Steve will be so thrilled.)
Good morning.
The "Non-destructive System Recovery" appears to be the same as "System Restore" which just takes me back to the same black screen.
I'm going to give HP a call later on (after I take Joshua to school and get Matthew started on his school). I'm not paying them anything though...not to listen to me stammer through descriptions I don't know how to describe. I'll take it to the geeks down the street if it comes to it.

Mornin' again folks. Just a quick note afore I head out to the bored meeting.
Could use some prayer. Nerves are a little shot. This bored meeting always makes me a bit nervous (To translate it politically to the national level, I'm meeting with the Virginia equivalent of Terry McAuliffe, Madeline Albright and Howard Dean...). Plus I have to make a brief presentation. No real biggie, but a lot of these people would like to see me replaced.
Combine that with the fact that one of the collar stays for my shirt is missing, so half of my collar is doing a flying nun impersonation. I spilled coffee on my slacks...should dry without being noticable.
The worst thing though is that Luke absolutely fell apart this morning. I'm sure it's mostly because of his age. But he literally cried (make that screamed), from the time his Mom got him up (already late for my schedule), until I dropped him off at daycare 45 minutes later. I got angrier than I should have and yelled more than I should have.
sigh...I'll be fine in about 6 hours...
