Do you mean these photos are at THE OFFICIAL Homeland security site at http://www.dhs.gov? If so, I didn't see them there.

On the picture the UBL figure seems to be striking a bull with a bloody sword. A reference to Wall Street perhaps? Also the bull seems to have a human face, but I can't see it well enough to see who it is supposed to be.

In light of your links on warnings out for terrorists using officials' ID badges and such, you might want ot keep this link handy. I found this web site once and quickly after that the page was completely changed. anyway, I dug around some when I saw it the first time and here are the results:

The analysts happened to use a photo of the bull statue on WALL STREET. Maybe they are making a connection that isn't actuality but for illustrative purposes only.

As an American, that's the first thing that came to my own mind when I saw the first image of bin Laden in a bloody NYC with what looks to be a bull with a man's (President Bush?) face. However, it could mean something totally different from the perspective of a jihadi terrorist. (on whose mustache I spit the grease of a pig and pound his image with my shoes, by the way)

Right. Just want to clarify what the official HOMELAND SECURITY site at http://www.dhs.gov states and this non-governmental web site you quoted from states.

I went to the url www.homelandsecurityus.com and checked their FAQ other contact info and found this and I quote: "'What is the 'Northeast Intelligence Network?' The Northeast Intelligence Network is a private research agency..."

Maybe, for the sake of clarity, when quoting from this site use the term "Northeast Intelligence Network." Just my opinion...

If you right click on the humvee picture and then click on properties you will find the picture comes from the following site:

I understand arasina. I did make the mistake and I thought it was dhs until another freeper informed me that it was not. I had to go back and look for myself and sure enough I found out that it was not what I thought it was.

Daleel's group only allows you to add links to the database, add web links and schedule events. Feel free to try and tweak any of these if you want to leave some kind of message. Only Daleel can post pics and if you manage to post a message, he is the moderator, it'll probably end up in the used-bit-bucket. I added a "Welcome Back - Happy Hour" event last week after Daleel (or is it his brother?) returned after his 12 days of silence.

Sorry for the confustion -- and thanks, arasina, for the clarification to others.

I can see how it gets confusing, because the non-government website has a name, which is virtually the same as the official Homeland Security Dept. The NON-official intel analysis site is homelandsecurityus.com (note the ...us.com). I have it saved in my bookmarks, and in my bookmarks, it shows up as "Homelandsecurity.com"

I always give the website, as reference, so if there is a question, just go to the site to find out what it is.

One important thing to watch for is the ending -- as we all know the real government websites all end in .gov

There are other sites, which may use the same name, but end in .com or .net or other things.

E.g. whitehouse.gov is the official White House site, but whitehouse.net is an anti-Bush spoof site, which actually looks like the official White House site and whitehouse.com is a porn site, as I understand (I didn't check it out, last thing I need is to pick up some trojan horse from visiting it).

So -- just to confirm again -- the picture is NOT at the official US HS.GOV website, but at the site of the intel analysts.
