A pacific palisades fire victim named Sue Pascoe started her own investigation after the $100 million dollars in donation money from the FireAid concert ‘went missing’

She personally called all the NGOs to find out who they were giving the money to

Not a single NGO had given any money to actual fire victims of the Pacific Palisades and Altadena fires

Reminder, investigators were able to track roughly $75 million had been granted to 120–188 nonprofits. Not a dime went to victims directly

Gavin Newsom created a NGO and got some of the money

I worked nearly ten years as a programmer at an NGO.
The salary and benefits were obscene.

Same point was made when Trump and Rubio cut off that disgusting USAID organization from their tens of billions of taxpayer dollars. The question arose as to why the leaders of foreign countries that were recipients of US dollars from USAID for medical, housing and food purposes were not objecting. The reason is that they had received next to nothing from USAID; the vast portion of taxpayer dollars that went to that benighted agency had been gobbled up by NGOs with their enormous salaries as rewards to political types; why object when you are not losing anything?

As the old saying goes, “Foreign aid is money taken from poor people in rich countries and given to rich people in poor countries.”

This is how Democrat campaigns get funded. Launder the cash at a few levels, and push it through organizations similar to ActBlue. Maybe do a little PR, with TV and radio, to make it look like the whole thing was legitimate. There is now “grass-roots” in the Democrat party. The roots are rotted.

Steer clear of anything with the suffix, “Aid.”

Anyone else familiar with all the fraud in the wake of the 1906 earthquake?

CA liberal elites froth at the mouth over the next ‘big one’. The other left coast states, too.

Palisades was just a dry run for modern opportunity of disaster aid fraud (shocker /s).

This is also the BIG SECRET why the DEMS always fight so hard for public school funding. It is the ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS to run the school systems that are so high. It is not the maintenance of the buildings and facilities. Even a small public school system will have a half million dollars of more in administrative costs. Then throw in the top ten highest paid teachers and you will see where all your tax money goes.

I live in a small town in NH. Where 75% or more of our property taxes go to funding the local schools.
The only answer from the Dems is to pay more. It is for the children. When in fact it is for the admin and Special Ed teachers salaries.

Almost 6 years later, I still get contacted by Access ( that’s the corrupt ngo in charge of natural catastrophies in Oregon). They always have a new program to finally help me out..so more interviews and copies of documents to chase down..it always is the same..no help available. You become their job security .. just a commodity.

The not-for-profit industrial complex (a) funds the political activism for all social-interest government grant programs which, (b) the not-for-profit industrial complex, uses to promote and sustain itself. Then (c) the not-for-profit industrial complex launders part of its proceeds back to the politicians who funded the government grants to them.

There was an article I saw where after 1 year, most of them still can’t get a job in their pay range. One women went from $270,000 a year to applying for a $19 an hour job now.

She will either find nothing, or be labeled as some kind of “ist”. Depending on the group that she finds the money having been funneled to.

we need laws that go after the whole staff of NGO that colect money under false pretenses and divert the money....if those serving on the boards risked prison time for fraud if money is diverted. my prediction 90 percent less NGO and more services for money donated. to many on the boards are there to rubber stamp and not provide over site.
