On December 27, 2025, a 13-year-old boy named Terrel Byars Jr. was hit and killed by a driver in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, which is near Pittsburgh.
This past Sunday, protestors and their children walked in the street and deliberately placed themselves in front of oncoming traffic, in the exact same spot, on the exact same road, where Byars was killed.
So after a child was hit and killed by a car, parents are encouraging their own children to walk in the same street against oncoming traffic.
This is the exact opposite of what these parents should be teaching their children.
Shame on these parents.
Paging Child Protective Services.

I am being blocked from this story online but I’m guessing that the protestors are of a certain ethnic persuasion that thinks anyone who strikes them does it out of racial malice and not because of any “mistake”.

So instead of a kid being hit from behind by an unseen car, the kid will be able to see the car coming and get out of the way. I remember this from the 50’s.

Maybe so… But it’s also brilliant and effective. They know normal folks won’t intentionally run over and hurt a child. So these assh*les are using their kids as human shields.
Like one poster said a thread, call in child protective services, and have them right there with the police.
Some of these kids understand exactly what’s going on, how their lives were dangerously devalued by their parents.
Some won’t ever forget, and when these children become middle aged adults. they will treat their parents with less than the greatest concern.
Should have taught the dead boy not to jaywalk or use the street recklessly.
