A leaked photo reportedly from an internal U.S. Postal Service (USPS) update reveals that the agency will continue to use “non-domiciled” drivers.
The leaked image purports to show that USPS, which operates independently of the president, will accept or hire non-citizen commercial drivers as of 2026. The leak comes in the weeks following the Trump administration’s announcement of increased scrutiny and English proficiency requirements for CDL issuance to migrants.
Sen. Rick Scott released a statement last week urging the Trump administration to crack down on USPS CDL hiring practices.
“It is deeply concerning that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) reportedly uses the very same drivers that your agencies have worked to keep off our country’s roads to protect American lives,” Scott said. “These reports indicate the USPS has become dependent on a CDL workforce made up of illegal aliens, and, as a result, it is now rescinding its temporary ban on these same employees after only a few short days, despite guidance from the administration.”
The news comes as the number of fatalities involving migrant CDL holders, many of whom had expired or were issued illegally, continues to grow. Last week, a semi-truck driven by El Hadji Karamoko Quattara killed three people, including a 2-year-old child, after crashing into a minivan. Three more passengers were hospitalized, a local outlet reported.
A federal law needs to be passed prohibiting ANY federal OR state official identification documents being issued to anyone not here without official permission: green card, non-resident alien, etc.

None dared call it treason
But those CDLs won’t be legal any longer, by the end of the first week of January.
An expired CDL is not a “CDL.”
Since when is the post office independent of the president? It is specifically called out in the constitution and congress must fund (can’t be eliminated like other departments without an amendment) but there is no such thing as independent, and they aren’t exempt from following the law.
Time to shut down the USPS. We have enough mail delivery systems, UPS, Fed Ex, etc. We don’t need the Anti-American USPS anymore. Let them America killers put American families at risk on American roads. Duffy needs to but road blocks up and start checking all USPS vehicles. I know there are thousands of AMERICAN truck drivers who would love a job driving for USPS. Instead, they want foreign, simpleton turban heads. USPS sucks.
BUMP
Where I am, USPS is the only reliable mail or package delivery (other than Amazon).
Funny how people in the "government" seem to think they're above the law
Insurance companies must invalidate all coverage for any business that hires these people. The threat of insolvency will force their removal from the roads quickly. All it will take is a couple businesses to get crushed.
Suspect all these guys work for contract carriers for usps. Financially crush a few. Unfortunately, people will die before it happens.
Just another example of the “threat to democracy” when a federal agency ignores Presidential executive orders and federal laws.
Yo Trump ! Do someting about the USPS !
12 Days for a Christmas card to go from up north to SC
What’s up with that !?
It’s not only Dec.
Getting worse.Trump letting the USPS die?
This explains why mail theft has exploded.. If you send a brightly colored birthday envelope it will arrive opened and money removed. It has happened twice in the past year.
I’m going to assume these are CDL drivers of the big rigs on the nation’s highways - NOT - the mail carriers house to house..I’m not sure those who deliver to my house can even read...my street is a circle and they go ‘round and ‘round several times trying to find the right house or how to get out of the circle.
I was unsure how to handle that this year but so far, everything I sent that did look like a greeting card - whether birthday or Christmas arrived safely...
The past two years I had that problem... I paid for priority delivery on Christmas/Birthday cards (two in one family had both at Christmas), one year and they arrived the first week in January and also one year put them all into one big brown envelope with tracking to hide the designs on the envelopes...still late!!
The Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) was the U.S.’s first independent federal regulatory agency, created in 1887 by the Interstate Commerce Act to regulate railroads and ensure fair rates, stop discrimination (like rebates), and oversee interstate transportation. Its powers expanded to trucking, buses, and pipelines but significantly diminished through deregulation in the 1980s, and the agency was abolished in 1995, with its functions largely moved to the Surface Transportation Board.
What happened Moe?
