Is committing identity theft and making the life of a man and his family hell a bad thing?
Apparently not, as long as you were also breaking the law by entering the country illegally and working illegally, racking up debts without paying them, and committing other crimes. In fact, once you are caught, the Times will classify you as a victim in need of as much sympathy as the man you have terrorized for a decade.
At least, that is the take of the geniuses at The New York Times.
The Times profiles the two men in question. The two victims, as they call them.

We've all been inundated with the horrors of identity theft, right? So much of our lives in the modern world is tied to our driver's licenses and Social Security numbers that having somebody mess with them is a nightmare, and one that can eventually net you a visit from the police, or having to deal with debt collectors, or any number of other things.

THIS is THE crime problem we have from illegal aliens. We can’t let the Rodents and the media portray these people as harmless “hard workers” who only want to feed their family.
They are identity thieves PERIOD. If not IDENTITY THIEVES they are TAX cheats working without paying any taxes. So either they are identity thieves that commit mail fraud and steal an American’s identity and ruin his/her life; or they are working for cash only and cheating all Americans. In both cases they commit felonies that get American sent to prison. We don’t want to send them to prison with all that doing so costs, we want to send them home.
I would want to kill the illegal.
“Two men, one identity”.
NYTs acts as if both men had a claim to the name and history of the American citizen. They present the illegal alien as just another victim in the story.
No. It was one man with an identity that another man, an illegal alien, tried to steal. The illegal alien caused no end of trouble and expense to the man whose identity he used in both employment and police interaction.
A pox on the NYTs and others who try to excuse this criminal behavior.
Especially this part:
"...But Perez-Bravo had most of his family and several members of his church at the hearing, and his lawyer said that he was “connected to the city in deep ways.” He regularly cooked for 60 people at church barbecues. He had a son who was about to graduate from high school, a boss who wrote letters testifying to his work ethic, and a pastor who was willing to pay a $1,000 bond on his behalf and risk her house as collateral. “This is a kind family and they help everybody,” the pastor testified. “We’re going to help him.” The judge ruled that he could return home with an ankle monitor until his next court date as long as he stopped using Kluver’s name and Social Security number...
I am going to guess this "church" (that supports the criminal alien) is one of those Unitarian Universalist churches that have rainbow flags, BLM flags, "All are welcome" signs, and all the rest, but don't have a single reference to God, Christ, or the Cross. Like this example:
Every single one of them who stood up for this criminal alien, including the pastor, should be forced to go through the same thing this guy who had his identity stolen. They should all be forced to lose a grandfather, father, or husband, to experience the same pain the family encountered when this good, pillar-of-the-community criminal alien ran into him and his granddaughter, killing the grandfather and injuring the grandchild.
Every damn single one of them should be forced to experience those things in addition to the identity theft. They should be forced to because none of them, not a single one of them, has had to face the consequences of the things they support.
I would not even use the NY Times as liner for my cats’ litter box. I would not subject my cats to such foul toxins. The Times more often than not takes the side of illegals. Such great Americans, the staff of the NYT.
I permanently dealt with the problem the next year by underpaying my taxes. The IRS are really good at identifying those that owe them money…lol. Best deterrent I know for those of that ilk.
NYT
NOT YOUR TRUTH !!!
I have to say-that is one of the most impressive things in my memory I have heard of someone doing an unconventional thing to elicit a positive effect!
That. Is. Brilliant.
I would shake your hand in person...:)
It reminded me of the scene in “San Andreas” (which I have in 3-D and very much enjoy) where the girl is caught in a crushed limousine when a piece of concrete falls on it. The young structural engineer who tries to save her knows that they will need to use rebar to try for leverage to raise it and free her legs, but finds out pretty quickly that the concrete block is too heavy.
He then gets the excellent idea that if he gets the jack out of the trunk, he can lift it with the car jack and free her! Great idea! Then, as the jack raises the concrete with each downward stroke, and her legs are almost free, it fails, for the same reason it fails for almost everyone who ever tries to use a car jack for a purpose other than jacking up a car. And it always seems to play out the same for us.
“Yes! This is working! My idea was a good one! The thing is almost free!”
Then, as you exuberantly prepare to perform the task when the object is lifted, you push the pump handle down, and...it stops. It doesn’t register on you at first, and you push down with ever increasing pressure, until the thought arises in you that...the pump can travel no further. It is maxed out.
And that is the point this young engineer reached as he tried desperately to rescue this young, attractive, and terrified girl who is, with each earthquake aftershock, closer to, not being trapped, but being crushed.
The jack won’t go up any further. The whole building is going to come down on top of her, and if you don’t run, you too.
Though it was only a movie I was watching, I am sure in real life my mind would have been grasping for anything.
Then, the Young Engineer does the unexpected thing. He grabs the tire iron, runs to the rear tire of the car, and jabs the sharp end into the inflated tire! The tire deflates, the car drops, and the attractive girl is free!
I simply didn’t even think of that, and I didn’t even have a chunk of concrete ready to crush the girl I had a crush on!
That was an unconventional approach to a two stage unconventional problem, and it generated a most conventionally desired outcome.
So, to hear you rat yourself out to the IRS in a way nobody in their right mind would ever think to do...it made me grin in appreciation, I can tell you.
Well done!
My BIL is one of the nicest men I've ever known, but I was able to gain a small victory for him. I filled out the initial and final partnership return, and gave the two other partners "guaranteed payments to partners" for the amount they stole from him.
That allowed him to carry his losses forward to the following year, while the former partners were going to have to pay tax on those guaranteed payments. The beautiful part about that is that it usually takes the IRS a couple of years to get around to those returns, but I'm sure they sent out notices before the third year (statute of limitations) passed. I can only imagine their confusion when they received the letters.
The local cops didn't do a damn thing about it, their record keeping as to ownership of the assets was poor.
Making excuses for criminal illegals - another 90/10 (or more) issue the Dems will not let go of.
The NY Times calls him a victim because they live in New Canaan,CT...Alpine,NJ...and Scarsdale,NY. If they lived in Paterson,NJ he’d be called a dirty wetback who should be put on the next boat home.
“But...he’s just a poor, tiny, helpless little baby who doesn’t know any better and needs our help! The real problem is the white racism that forced him to steal an identity just to survive in Trump’s America!”
“But...he’s just a poor, tiny, helpless little baby who doesn’t know any better and needs our help! The real problem is the white racism that forced him to steal an identity just to survive in Trump’s America!”
“He’s just a poor boy, from a poor family.....”
This dude also denied five children their real paternal identity.
