Tucker Carlson’s Populist Poison Laced with pro Nazism Is Driving Some Young Jews Toward the Radical Left e.g. Mamdani.
Tucker Carlson built his brand on the illusion of defending “real America,” but what he’s actually done is mainstream grievance politics and conspiracy rhetoric that corrodes the conservative movement from within. By flirting with isolationism, even pro-Hitler Fuentes, Holocaust denier Darryl Cooper, excusing antisemitic tropes, and casting suspicion on Israel’s moral legitimacy, Carlson has alienated countless Jews who once found a home on the right. His demagoguery has pushed many—especially younger Jewish Americans—toward figures like Zohran Mamdani, who, while sincere in their pursuit of justice, often represent a radical rejection of the very Western and Jewish values that once anchored political discourse.
Reminder: The 2017 Charlottesville rally—where neo-Nazis chanted “Jews will not replace us” while marching with tiki torches—didn’t just shock the nation; it became the moral launching pad for Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign. He explicitly cited it as the reason he re-entered politics, declaring there could be “no moral equivalence” between white supremacists and those who opposed them. Tucker Carlson’s subsequent platforming of Holocaust revisionists like Darryl Cooper and his winks at Nick Fuentes-style isolationism echo that same poison, only now wrapped in a cable-news suit. The result? A generation of young Jews—once reliably conservative on Israel and free speech—watching the right flirt with the very ideologies that once marched against them. No wonder some are drifting toward radicals like Zohran Mamdani, who at least speak with clarity, however wrongheaded. Carlson isn’t defending “real America”; he’s handing its microphone to the fringe and calling it courage.
Carlson’s brand of pseudo-conservatism is not a defense of tradition; it’s a betrayal of it. By replacing principle with populist resentment, he’s helped create the very ideological vacuum that anti-Israel activists now fill. The Jewish community deserves better than false populism and moral confusion—it deserves leaders unafraid to stand for both truth and freedom, from Jerusalem to Washington.
Exactly. Even if this article is true, it is less than 1% of the vote for Mamdani. Trump isn’t giving the young voters any reason to vote MaGA.
and “casting suspicion of Israel’s moral legitimacy” is the least any of us can do. I am glad that Tucker among others has led the way on this....and again, the intentional guilt by association mistake that’s always made is that Tucker ( who WILL and HAS talked to anybody and everybody, which is what a journalist/commentator like him is supposed to do) agrees with everything any one of his guests utters....he gets more out of them, and helps on the process of them revealing themselves, rather than virtue signaling by pretending to “debate” them.
He criticized the Israeli government. That’s not allowed. If you don’t celebrate and agree with everything they do you are not an American patriot. You also can’t be a Christian unless you revere the Israeli nation state. But they can reject Jesus and say he’s boiling in excrement in hell. But you still have to support them.
And the Shapiros and Levins can oppose Trump, but if you disagree with them, you hate Trump.
It gets confusing
What office does Carlson hold?
… just like Charlottesville 2017 helped Biden …Fraud denial.
So now Tucker is pro Nazis? And it’s Tuckers fault some young NYC Jews are voting for Mamdani? That’s crazy talk. You’re being hysterical. Is that you Mark Levin?
I sincerely doubt that. If “young Jews” don’t see that Mamdani wants them in an oven, then there is no helping them. It’s not the Tuckster or Nuremberg Nicky.
Most Jews are already leftists
No. "Grievance politics" has been mainstream now for several generations.
But now Straight White Christians also want to participate.
I’d phrase it differently - what is with Tucker Carlson’s hate lately? He really seems to have developed a bug up his butt about Jews and Israel, and it’s become something far worse and more sinister than his claims about “just asking questions”.
He’s crafting a persona to sell a product: himself. The nutbags and mush brained youth that consume fringe media want this contrarianism and non confortmity to orthodox political agendas.
The author is an idiot. Why would anyone care what Tucker Carlson thinks or who he “platforms”, and use this as a reason to support someone who wants to kill them?
True.
Mix it in with the many, many posts predicting doom for MAGA due to last night’s “elections” in deep state echo chambers. Now we’re cooking!
We are supposed to accept the idea that Tucker Carlson’s pro Nazism, (which is a lie) is driving some young Jews into the warm embrace of leftish Jew-hating Muslims?
These fools twist themselves into pretzels to try to get across their nonsense.
And what has Trump’s support of Cuomo got to do with this thesis?
No, I have watched him for years and he is not a hateful person. All anyone has to do to get blacklisted these days is say anything at all critical of Isreal at all, and it does not have to be hateful in any way to have wrath rain down upon you. I am a little surprised that you, who I consider to be a very reasonable person has jumped on the bandwagon with this.
It is pathetic and it is not about America at all.
Hummus eaters refers to that whole vast region, although Jesus did tell his disciples he would be condemned to death by the High Priest and the Sanhedrin and delivered over to the Romans for execution.
And you cannot cite the slightest hint by Carlson that Israel does not have the right to exist.
Carlson criticizes Bibi along with millions of Israelis. When we all criticzed Biden, did that mean we were anti-United States and that the United States does not have a right to exist?
The attacks on Carlson are working the opposite of their intention. So stupid.
