Next stop: meet with President Trump next April 3 at the White House.
Interesting parallel to Ukraine war.
The political hub of Canada is the east, but are largely dependent on resources coming from the west. Areas of Canada used and abused by the elite in the east, and these folks are tired of being used and are far less anti-USA, and could potentially secede from Canada leaving Toronto with very little resources and income.
In Russia the east supplies a large portion of their petro and mineral wealth, and has been for decades neglected, used and abused by Moscow and the ethnic Russian elites( are there any “great cities” like Moscow or at Petersburg in the east for Tucker to fawn over?)
Secession or absorption by China are certainly possible, and with that a significant source of revenue for Moscow would be gone.
WTS, Canada has always struck me as a country with short man’s syndrome.
Another parallel to Russia and pitin.
Not really a baseball fan, but I can only imagine that losing the WS will have a much more devastating effect on the Canadian psyche than a loss by the dodgers would have had on the US
How many Canadians on the Jay’s?
Efff LA. Efff the dodgers

Well technically Vlad is but in reality no.
The local (Knoxville TN) sports talk guys suggest more day games on TV during the week.
With late-night “comedy” getting cancelled, an 11:30 Eastern game from the West Coast might not be bad either.
They’ve been there before....Of course they’ll accept.
I didn’t see the end of the game. Just the highlights. Did they replay the crap out of the play at the plate in the bottom of the ninth? Throw was in time but did the catcher have his foot on the plate? OMG was that close.
Most successful Yamamoto since Pearl Harbor.
MLB is the only major sport left that I keep one eye on because it doesn't feel like watching a scripted WWE event. Even though I have no doubt gambling has inserted its tentacles into many baseball outcomes, too.
Thanks. I watched all of them. ; - )
golf analogy and I’m not a fan of either team
if we look at the 2025 World Series and take into consideration the disparity in payroll expense of the two teams(almost 100 million dollars more for the Dodgers.. you could have fielded 10 different MLB teams for that kind of cash)
the Blue Jay players played off the Pro tees and the Dodgers played from the Lady’s tees and won by one stroke,,
The Blue Jays were ripped off. MLB and the umpires did everything they could to secure that win for the Dodgers, to the unplayed ball in Game six to Ohtani getting more time to warm up between innings. And no, I’m not from Canada.
The Japan Dodgers won. Was hoping both teams would lose.
Bump - especially the Dodgers.
“How many Canadians on the Jay’s?”
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is a Canadian citizen. He was born on March 16, 1999, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, while his father, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., played for the Montreal Expos.
The Dodgers have one dual citizen, Freddie Freeman. He was born in Orange County, CA, to Canadian citizens.
