Do you even understand how a negotiated surrender works? Have you ever been in law enforcement?
I have at the Fed and country level. This is now a peaceful surrender works period. His council negotiated a peaceful surrender so no one gets hurt. You just put in the back of transport uncuffed it’s not a big deal the person turned themselves in they were pat down for sure before entering the secure area. What is the “big danger” with someone sitting voluntarily it should be said behind ballistic glass and an metal cage in the back of transport with a single LEP driving. One loony up thread was worried about a grenade pin really ...really why would you negotiate a surrender then do something like that. If you wanted suicide by cop come out blasting and get it done.
There is nothing out of the ordinary to bring in a surrendering suspect in the back of transport without cuffs and without ruffing them up. You want them to be talkative the whole way which is being recorded and also when they get to the station and indoc processing. You want them to feel like the PD is not against them this is LEO 101.

It only takes one lefty governor to commute his sentence to timed served years from now that’s the cold realty of political killings. No one can stop a elected governor from commuting his sentence to timed served in the future not even the US Supreme Court this is a state crime and the 10th amendment makes them superior. Point is don’t elect lefties. Even if he is tried for Federal RICO some future dem POTUS can pardon look at the garbage the last POTUS blanket pardoned this is how politics works and until a civil war is fought to decide who runs things for the next century it will continue to swing back and forth. Don’t be a fool. Stick to facts not emotions. Provided those text are real they should convince a jury of guilt no confessions needed. Add in DNA it’s a slam dunk. The real danger is Utah going lefty and electing a governor who can let him out later. Look it up 34 years avg sentencing to death penalty in UT that’s a lot of time for Utah to flip and go blue. He gets at least 2 appeals most here will be long dead before those appeals play out. Again it’s just how the world works get big mad if you like, let it live rent free in your head, raise your blood pressure and shorten your own life over it. Or just accept the world for what it is , let the system work and try to change the hearts and minds of enough young people vote pro American and not lefty that’s it demographics is destiny all you older will be dead soon and the demographics will drive the country for the next 50 years.
