The FBI confirmed Monday morning DNA samples found at the spot where Charlie Kirk’s assassin hid positively match the suspect now in custody, Tyler Robinson.

FBI Director Kash Patel made the revelation on Fox & Friends. He confirmed DNA matching alleged assassin Robinson, 22, was found on a towel that covered the murder weapon when it was thrown away in nearby woods.

A screwdriver found in the sniper’s position on the UVU rooftop also returned a positive match.

The rifle is only about 37” long. You can actually see the outline and the towel flailing as he jumps.

Sincere thanks. That helps explain why actual evidence is being found — I mean it (I don’t trust FBI agents as far as I could kick ‘em.)

I trust Patel 100%.

The early "erroneous" suspects info...was relayed to Patel.

Must have pi**** him off when the locals retracted their calls".

I believe Patel was actually in the field when they found the gun.

“Ok. We have the evidence, now execute him. Utah has firing squad.”

Would you like to find out what he knows first? Would that be a good idea?

Even though the killer is silent, all are hopeful that the evidence collected will support a case that will lead to a conviction. It is also hoped that whatever prosecutor is assigned is not a soul relative of the one in Idaho who seemingly couldn’t want to deal himself out of having to appear in court and actually fight. No plea deal will deliver the sentence most appropriate to this crime, and no poltroon posing as a prosecutor should be entrusted with getting it.

According to an article addressing the idea, no solid evidence of conspiracy has been fount yet, although several online postings point to an awful lot of foreknowledge of the killing.

Facts - and answers - tend to emerge over time. The public is still in the stage where questions dominate.

it was initially ID’d as a Mauser bolt-action firing 30.06 rounds. Would that describe a carbine?

Yes. But he is reportedly remaining silent, which is probably on the advice of an attorney. And the plan may be to hold the information out as an offering for a plea deal. Which is why there needs to be an enormous pile of evidence to preclude any such BS move by a prosecutor who may not like to fight.

BRAVE AI:

Mauser 98

The Mauser M 98 is a series of bolt-action hunting rifles currently produced by Mauser Jagdwaffen GmbH in Isny im Allgäu, Germany, since 1999, based on original 1936 designs and patents.

It is a civilian version of the Karabiner 98k military rifle used during World War II, sharing a similar appearance but offered in various hunting chamberings.

The production of the military Mauser 98 system ceased in 1945.

The Mauser M 98 features a controlled round feed bolt action system, patented by Paul Mauser in 1895, which includes a bolt with three locking lugs—two large main lugs and a third safety lug at the rear for added security.
The bolt is machined from a single piece of high-grade steel and has a permanently attached bolt handle turned down for use with telescopic sights.
The action is designed with large gas relief holes and a gas shield to deflect debris away from the shooter in case of a cartridge rupture.
The rifle can be easily disassembled by removing the bolt stop and rotating the bolt out.

Standard features include a 5-round internal magazine (4+1 for magnum calibers), iron sights (with a Rigby-style diopter available), and a factory-prepared mounting system for swing-off telescopic sights.
The standard barrel length is 600 mm (23.62 in) for the M 98 and 620 mm (24.41 in) for the M 98 Magnum variant, with other lengths available upon request.
The rifle is available in calibers such as 7×57mm Mauser, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, 8×57 IS, and 9.3×62mm.
The M 98 Magnum variant is designed for big-game hunting and is offered in calibers like .375 H&H Magnum, .416 Rigby, and .450 Rigby.

The Mauser M 98 Magnum Diplomat model, for example, has a 62 cm (24.4 in) barrel, weighs 4.6 kg (10.1 lb), and features a black plasma-nitrided surface finish with a walnut stock.
The standard M 98 weighs 3.6 kg (7.9 lb), while the M 98 Magnum weighs 4.4 kg (9.7 lb).
The rifle includes a three-position safety located at the rear of the bolt, which can be modified to a horizontal 3-position safety with a locking lever for use with low-mounted optics.

Used Mauser M 98 rifles have recently sold for prices ranging from $500 to $1,825, depending on condition, caliber, and model.
New models, such as the Mauser 98 with a .243 Win. chambering, have been sold for $699.89.
The M 98 series is known for its high build quality, with options for luxury wood grades, engravings, and other custom finishes.

“””I’ll post this link again, the third for fourth time on the forum. Watch it at .25 speed especially as he climbs off the roof, then gathers himself on the ground and takes off. Its very clear he has a long item(the rifle) wrapped in dark material(the towel).

https://www.fbi.gov/video-repository/utah-valley-shooting-video-091025.mp4/view “”””

And I will repost it again. When Robinson runs from the building there is a frame or two when it shows him carrying a long dark object.

Two things we need the FBI to release.

1. A frame by frame of the video when he drops from the building and then runs away.

2. A photograph showing the color of the blanket that was discovered with the rifle in the woods.

Hopefully, that will satisfy the FR Doubting Thomases.
