Alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson appears to have been a member of a bizarre Steam group named “Read This If Your Gay,” a title that eerily mirrors the mocking inscription “If you read this, you are gay LMAO,” which was etched on a bullet casing at the crime scene. Steam is a video game platform that lets you play, discuss, and create games on your computer.
The group’s profile featured cartoonish imagery, including anime-style characters, underscoring the meme-driven world in which Robinson and his associates seem to have operated.
Incredibly, members of the group were issued a frantic warning to switch to encrypted chats just hours after the fatal shooting but before Robinson’s arrest, indicating that they may have had information about the shooter.
A cryptic announcement was posted in the group on September 10 at 11:24 PM, mere hours after Kirk’s shooting, but crucially before Robinson’s arrest.
Penned by a user named “CHERRY SYLVEON,” the message warned: “be careful over sh-t you say online end to end encryption messaging platforms like signal exists for a reason or just use PGP and yes, this is directly referencing a very specific thing that happened.”
This post urged caution and encrypted communication, strongly implying insider knowledge of the assassination.

Don’t bet the farm on this notion of “Conservative gays” and attaching any sort of fidelity to their political over their sexual identity. They don’t. Given any conflict between the two identities, the gay side ALWAYS prevails. One only needs to examine the relationship in the gay/professing Christian group. Whenever these worlds collide (and they always will), it isn’t that secondary identity that will prevail over the other. Gays fight to amend whatever tenet does not agree - even if it’s 2,000 year old church teachings. If it cannot be bent to the gay side of their persona, it will be tossed aside without regret.

I’m not young and we need to keep this clear for people who don’t know.
Discord is simply a huge voice and text chat system that lets players of games have their own “room” to chat and leave messages. I use it every day. The issue is how people are using it, and whether the service itself is or isn’t promoting violence through inaction in policing it’s content. There should be VAST concern about letting minors communicate on this service because there is no moderation of content in most private channels. That’s not evil in itself, it’s exactly like old school Internet chat rooms only way more advanced. The PROBLEM is when did we start allowing minors unfettered access to talking to anyone at all for months or even years with no idea it’s going on?
Second, don’t attack Steam. Steam is something else entirely. It is the worlds largest game sales site and has been good to consumers/gamers for decades. They also have basic text and voice chat systems between “friends” like any game service such as Xbox etc but it’s not built to facilitate rooms/channels full of people easily. It has things like parental controls etc. Still the same basic issue though, minors can be allowed OR NOT to have chat access to random people.
Discord and Twitter needs to be looked at for what they directly support at the corporate level. But treat these services as we treat any other freedom. Do you blame the tool or the people using them? We do need laws prohibiting minors from having social media accounts, or requiring all communication text and voice be retained and sent to patents.
