He wasn’t released. He was sent to a loony bin for 60 days to see if he is competent to stand trial. Once the shrinks say he is sufficiently competent to assist his attorneys in the defense of his trial, he goes back to jail.
If the judge doesn’t do that and the trial goes forward, a conviction would likely be reversed.

One of my first thoughts was that taking out Charlie Kirk was to get Iryna out of the news as that killing was literally DESTROYING the Democrats. But it seems that the Democrats don’t even care at this point.

They are trying to make sure he doesn’t even go to trial and is set free.Just like the criminal in Queens with a long record who broke into the elderly couple's house and brutally killed them (set one on fire, I think) for not letting him in to charge his cell phone. Unbelievable.
