Chase Hughes exposes the dark precipice we are standing on. He also offers great advice for how to move forward in this 23 minute video.
It’s informative yet therapeutic.

I usually like Hughes, but this was loaded with fallacies. I understand that he has to jump on the news cycle to direct people to his psy op courses and manuals, but the thinking is too sloppy. Probably a result of rushing out his take.
Who are our media influencers? Happy warriors with small platforms like Limbaugh , yeah 20 million, but you had to know where to find him; Charlie Kirk? Who are their media influencers, NYT, alphabets, right on through to MSNBC and virtually all academia, including places like Utah and Texas.
The people who influence us are not only the ones who agree with us; we’re equally influenced by those who deliberately manipulate our reactions.
The left’s mode to influence us is suppression, and the assassination is just the most recent and extreme example
glad somebody here agrees with me
Meanwhile, Eric Erickson is having a buddy today because during a press conference, Kash Patel added a personal message about meeting Charlie some day on the other side.
Charlie Kirk is dead and it exposed something vile and horrifying that I want to share with you right now just kind of candidly. He was murdered while he’s speaking in public to a group of college kids. And there’s one part of this that I think should horrify you to the the deepest parts of your very soul. Instead of a universal outrage, instead of every decent person saying this is insane and this is wrong, the internet seemingly lit up with these celebrations and cheers and memes and people actually
><
The folks who celebrated Charlies death should be identified. They have no place in civilized society. They are not going to change. I do not want anything to do with any of them.
Sorry, but not sorry. I don’t have anything in common with the left who advocates for senseless murder, be it abortions or assassination or violence, or wanton destruction of property, nor the taking away of my God given rights protected by the Constitution..
And while we may both want fixed roofs and food on the table, I don’t want or expect it to be given me at someone else’s expense.
So the things we allegedly want in allegedly common, to not override the visceral, demonic hatred residing in the heart of a leftist. That far more negates the few things we have in common.
I disagree.
Just look at the reaction of *friends* or relatives when you express an opinion different from theirs.
THAT tells all.
I’m sure many here do. A person could call both the Left and the Right sides “cults” if they wish, but the Left is a Godless, world centric cult that’s based on lies, because wherever you find Godlessness you will find the devil orchestrating things. It’s destroying many souls with its mindless hate of all things good.
Do you believe that everyone who votes Democrat is a leftist harboring ‘demonic hatred’ in his or her heart?
I think Hughes was making the point that a lot of people with differing opinions don’t want to do “murder and wanton destruction’, and it’s dangerous to allow oneself to be manipulated into seeing things that way.
I’ve had some relatives turn into monsters on hearing different opinions.
What makes you think they can’t go deeper off the deep end at some point.
If they can’t control their emotions and act civilly in just a conversation, then it’s a very short step to them not being able to control their actions.
Again, ‘they’ are not all the same. I have had plenty of friends and coworkers who have disagreed with my politics but didn’t allow it to become a big deal between us; and certainly never led to either of us wanting to do violence over it.
Yes, it is.
Charlie Kirk was effective at getting people to think and even change their minds.
He was a young married man, a father, a Christian, an example of what you could become. What many dipwits whine about being not only "out of reach" for young people but they are actively told they do not deserve to have it. Those things are only for "special people" now.
He was living proof that all of that was a lie.
It was completely about Charlie Kirk the person.
If this person is too dim to understand that he is too dim to have much insight on anything else.
I will try your AI trick next time I post a video. But for the most part Freepers don’t look videos. Even 2 minute ones. But they will take the title of the video and run with it, comment on it. FR people are too busy for videos or have internet induced ADD. Both probably.
I watched this. It’s good. Thanks for posting.
I do think he could be more nuanced when talking about “both sides”.
What I think he is missing is the depth and beauty of what MAGA is actually doing. It is MAGA that grows every day, bringing in former democrats. It is TRUMP who has smashed the old left/right or if you will, the conservative / liberal paradigm. He has now created a movement that is for peace, for free speech, against big pharma and for the working class - as well as doing many traditionally “conservative” things and actually delivering on GOP promises made but not kept over the years - starting with overturning Roe v Wade.
Trump’s achievements are well known around here...but back to the video, I don’t think the speaker appreciates that MAGA is the place where we find our neighbors now, and the looney/insane/evil left is just about anyone at this stage who is not in MAGA.
It’s entirely true that there are no normal or regular democrats. Normal democrats formerly are all now MAGA. And as they come over, they are welcomed and embraced.
And what is happening/going to happen is that the fascist left is going to be decisively defeated.
And as that happens, we can begin to do what the speaker suggests....turn off the screechers and those who stoke division and begin looking at our neighbors as neighbors again.
Perhaps the next President, and I sure hope it will be Vance, will be winsome in a way that Trump couldn’t be. But we can never forget, without Trump standing up to them, we would never have a chance against the Machine.
Book mark
Thank you for that. I needed to see this as I have been in a VERY DARK place since Wednesday. Posted on my FB page.
these days have not bbeen easy. dark days ahead as well, but soldier on, we must
