A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that the Trump Administration violated the law when it blocked Harvard University from $2 billion in federal grants because of the school’s handling of antisemitism on campus.
US District Allison Burroughs, an Obama appointee, said Trump violated Harvard’s First Amendment rights when it froze $ 2 billion in federal grants earlier this year.
Judge Burroughs said the Trump Administration used antisemitism on Harvard’s campus as a “smokescreen for targeted, ideologically-motivated assault” on the country’s premier university.

I did not know that Federal judges were allowed to make rulings based on opinions they pulled out of their asses. What does the law state, passed by legallly constituted authorities, about withdrawing funds from Harvard?

Why are my tax dollars finding Harvard? Maybe Harvard should raise tuition, cut their costs of doing business, or have their leadership attend business school at a local community college to figure out non-taxpayer subsidized survival?

Fully expected this and other anti-Trump Administration rulings. These will continue to impede effective and efficient government until the Supreme Court takes action to stop inferior court rulings. I suspect most of the judges attempting to stop the gravy train have some hefty IOU’s outstanding to the Democratic Party and schools from which attended. Meanwhile, the common citizen has to watch their dollars flow to the elites who can well afford to self fund.
How many other groups that the dems used to champion have they now sold out?
