I lived in Americus GA for a while, and played for several "Miss Americus" pageants. I still remember the smell of that dusty-ass theater.

Thats not an image anyone thinks of when they think of America. Its not an image of integration into American society. I’d say the same thing if there was an image of a male Hassidic Jew. Those are not images of America, nor integration into America.
