As the industrial capital of the EU, Germany has a lot at stake given the nature of their contracting economy. The EU military industrial complex is centered around the nation Merz represents. There are trillions at stake.
BERLIN — U.S. President Donald Trump will join European leaders including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for an emergency virtual summit on Wednesday.
The call, organized by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, comes ahead of Friday’s summit in Alaska between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the war in Ukraine.
The virtual summit will focus on pressure options against Russia, questions about Ukrainian territories seized by Russia, security guarantees for Kyiv and the sequencing of potential peace talks, a German government spokesperson told POLITICO.
Merz and other European leaders demand that Putin first agrees to a ceasefire before any peace talks or land swaps between Moscow and Kyiv can take place. They have also made clear that any potential territorial exchanges must be balanced and agreed with Kyiv, and that Ukraine should receive firm security guarantees to protect it against further aggression.
Three diplomats told POLITICO that Merz’s team had been in intensive discussions with other capitals in recent days to organize the virtual meeting. (read more)

The Russians simply can’t match the American Military-Industrial Complex under Republican(Reagan/Trump) management. They are simply not going to bite on a ceasefire deal that will decrease their bargaining power.
Talk of land swaps should be postponed until a long-term peace deal is ratified. Peace talks should not be made more complex or difficult.
A long-term peace deal probably easier to get as the Russians (and probably the Ukrainians) would like the war to end and not merely be postponed.
The Russians could get a ceasefire simply by telling their troops not to fire upon unless fired upon.

Last week Glenn Beck exposed lots of verifiable information of the CIA Obama Clinton PPP connection to George Soros and their Russian Ukrainian war. Beck literally called it Soros’ war. The fact that Soros is a NWO/WEF front man and German Chancellor Merz is rallying other EU leaders to keep the Russian Ukrainian war going obviously lends credence to Beck’s claim of it being Soros’ war. I surmise that George Soros was the “behind the curtain” controller of the Ukrainian government while Obama and Clinton were working the Russians. Biden used his son Hunter by planting him on the board of Burisma to keep it all going once they were able to defeat a Trump second term.
If they had any sense of humor, they would have held the meeting in an underground bunker.

It looks pretty clear the Korean option is in play.
S. Korea did not sign the armistice. China, N. Korea and the UN command group (the US and a few hangers on) signed it, defining the border/DMZ.
It has held up for 70 yrs.
S. Korea refused to sign because they did not want the border to be defined by the combat line of battle. It proceeded anyway.
Neither S or N Korea have launched an attack since.
