The White House released a statement on the Bondi, Bongino clash on Friday afternoon.
Earlier Friday it was reported that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino took a day off from work after a clash with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files.
The blowup between Bondi and Bongino happened after the FBI, DOJ released a 2-page memo on Sunday concluding Jeffrey Epstein did not have a “client list” and that he committed suicide.
“Bongino did not report to work Friday amid speculation about his whereabouts, said a source familiar with the perspectives of DOJ leaders who also believes that Bongino is considering leaving,” NBC News reported.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields released a statement on the Bondi-Bongino clash.
“President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims. This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity. Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all,” Harrison Fields said.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt provided a statement to NBC News: “President Trump is proud of Attorney General Bondi’s efforts to execute his Make America Safe Again agenda, restore the integrity of the Department of Justice, and bring justice to victims of crime. The continued fixation on sowing division in President Trump’s Cabinet is baseless and unfounded in reality.”

They never told you this, but the Epstein memo wasn’t just “co-authored”—it was pre-cleared by an off-the-books intelligence panel at Quantico nicknamed “The Vault Committee.”
Why? Because parts of Epstein’s network intersected with ongoing counterintelligence operations in the U.S., U.K., and Israel—operations that had nothing to do with trafficking, and everything to do with leverage.
The memo? Sanitized.
The full version had 14 pages redacted, including names tied to private diplomatic backchannels, defense contractors, and a former U.N. official who “committed suicide” in Geneva in 2019.
Funny how they keep saying “no daylight” between the DOJ and FBI—
When some of those names also appear in sealed FISA warrant logs from 2016.

I have to admit that left is far better at coming up with stories and excuses to cover things up. They would have at least tried to make up something sounding a little bit credible.
They all three signed the memo, now didn’t they.

However, nothing can fix this ridiculous Bondi goofy explanations replete with BS binders and Epstein cell video that shows nothing.

Bongino knows he's suffered a LOT of damage from this, personally. His career hinges on this. I'm sure he didn't think he was signing up for it. But there wasn't even a "be patient, we're suckering them" in it. And that would blow the opportunity to get the pedo-thugs to expose themselves... so to speak. Full camera, and all that.
Problem is the thugs have got to know what is on those CDs and hard drives. So none of what might come from any future revelation would be any mystery. One wonders if there is even a hierarchy of "they wouldn't dare" out there that led them to think they could get away with it without blackmail. So far they (Bondi et al.) haven't dared. One wonders.
We don't have enough of a track record of her to suffer in confidence. And Trump... well, he's Trump. So nobody knows what the hell he's got in mind. Time's a wasting with the mid-terms coming and everything hinges on that.
The Dems are trying to insinuate that President Trump isn't releasing the Epstein files because he's iplicated in them.
Even if this were true (and I doubt it) the Democrats would then have to explain why they sat on this information through three consecutive presidential election cycles, two of which sent Trump to the White House.
