As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, sparks flew in the Cabinet Room when a reporter dared to ask a question about the “lingering mysteries” in the Epstein case, including Epstein’s ties to American or foreign intelligence agencies like Israel’s Mossad.
This comes after the FBI unbelievably determined that Epstein did commit suicide and that there is no incriminating client list, no credible blackmail evidence, and no grounds to investigate uncharged individuals connected to Epstein’s massive sex trafficking operation.
President Trump went off on the reporter, calling the question a “desecration” of the situation in Texas and the success of his administration. “I mean, I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this where we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas” the President said while suggesting that Attorney General Pam Bondi shouldn’t even “waste the time” answering the questions that so many Americans have.
Bondi then gave an angry response, claiming to have “no knowledge” of Epstein being an agent and giving an unclear reason why the Epstein client list has not been made public. “And that’s it on Epstein!” she declared.
Bondi also responded to The Gateway Pundit's reporting that an entire minute was cut from the DOJ footage showing the outside of Jeffrey Epstein’s jail cell on the night he committed suicide. "Every year, every night, they redo that video. It’s old from like 1999, so every night the video is reset and every night should have the same minute missing," she said.
Following this debacle, the official White House rapid response account posted a photo from the meeting, captioned "Most transparent administration in history, and they got lit up in the comments.

President Trump won the election because a lot of folks turned out to vote for him who were not normally that interested in politics.
The Epstein mess is the kind of thing that gets folks like that to throw up their hands in disgust and stay home in off year elections like 2026.

Yes they are, and it is particularly disgraceful that DOJ is turning a blind eye toward child exploitation by people they could surely identify. But this crew is probably following orders from above so what we get from them is “hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil”.
If Trump was really committed to his promises of transparency and accountability he wouldn’t be allowing this stonewalling to go on. But he seems to be OK with it, so its apparent that this bungling trio is doing what just what he wants them to do.

but then I have seen a guy tell tucker carlson that this is about letting people know how far trump will go to protect all involved and that they are safe.

And quick, before some really bad evidence pops up that rips away any veneer of honesty and credibility. And then damage control becomes nearly impossible. Scandals have a way of growing into uncontrollable monsters.
Easier and wiser to just expose the ugly truth — but also get the credit for being morally and ethically courageous to do it. :)
