Stephen Miller Unleashes on Sen. Rand Paul for Opposing ICE Funding While Backing Trillions in Open Border Spending

White House deputy speaker Stephen Miller lit into Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) on Sunday, hammering the Kentucky libertarian for what he called a “dishonest and disgraceful” stance on border security and funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Miller blasted Paul after the senator appeared on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, where he attempted to justify his opposition to a border funding bill.

“The United States has spent trillions subsidizing open borders and mass migration,” Miller posted on X. “But when we talk about providing ICE even a modest sum to repel the invasion, the Rand libertarians are aghast. Each deportation saves taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Miller didn’t hold back. He exposed the hypocrisy in a series of damning tweets, accusing Paul of playing politics while ignoring the fiscal and national security disaster unfolding on the southern border.

“Look at how dishonest this post is,” Miller wrote, referencing Paul’s statements.

“The only new spending in the tax cut bill is for homeland defense & security—offset by new fees on foreigners. The only other consequential spending provisions are more than $1.6 trillion in spending CUTS, including ending benefits for illegals and imposing welfare work requirements.”

Miller just lowered the boom against Rand. It might be good for Stephen Miller to give Rand's neighbor a phone call.

Just what is the cost of the illegal invasion?

Sadly, NO ONE has ever seriously attempted to quantify it.

I know the public school system has NEVER been worse.

ALL the illegals have contributed to it continuing demise.

And in a lot of places it is state and local gubmints that fund the biggest share of the costs of public education not the Swamp.

Each deportation saves taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

That is a very fair assessment.
